  1. That's sad to hear, but good to hear he is going to be ok, best wishes for a speedy recovery Andrew.
  2. Parag0n I don't know WTF that was but it was funny! :bahaha:
  3. That is your Idle Air Control solenoid. IAC
  4. Try the relay panel next to the steering column, i would be more specific if i had my car back, the ignition system is black with a red trace, not even sure if there is a relay. There are 2 main circuits one for the engine and one for ignition accessories, the wiring splits under the dash about 15cm from the barrel. hope this helps. 4 doors rule!
  5. Bl4cK32, I hope that is a before photo not an after rebuild, 'cos that looks pretty bad! :Bang:
  6. How about a can of felatio? :singer: :bahaha: Thats it speak into the mike baby, Happy birthday PranK :69:
  7. 711, isn't that like a quik-e-mart :bahaha: Thank you come again!
  8. The closest i could find are GTC but they are 3 piece! some one will know, looks like they aren't available new anymore
  9. Happy birthday Nexus9, soon you will have a cool photo to add to your already massive signature!
  10. It's ok to have different tyres front to rear, Just make sure that the fronts are checked regularly incase the same nasty fault occurs!
  11. Kumho is good, tornado sounds a bit scary!
  12. Well there was no storm really to speak of in sunny Lynbrook, but there was a spectacular light show on the horizon. Found out today that my step dads car was written off in the storm in Lillydale. the insurance company won't let him buy it back and that sucks, so anyone got a nice R30 skyline wagon or Pootara (pintara)! for about 3k?
  13. In my experience i have been told to give the engine some good load at low to medium RPM to help with bedding the rings in, obviously high RPM is bad as is high boost. Mineral oil is advisable for the first 1000k and then it's time to go nuts  This information was given to me when i rebuilt my first engine about 12 years ago by a family friend who was a touring car mechanic and it worked for me.
  14. Have a safe drive, make sure that green crate dosn't crack you in the noggin, :chairshot and best of luck with your new life in the land of queens
  15. Just put 2 and 2 together and worked out who scotty and king_kw13 are!!!! I'm clever! that sucks even more Let me know if there is anything i can do to help. how far is your work from the car park? mabe a paging system would be of use? GRRRRRRRR
  16. that last smiley did not work, it was supposed to be angry not poking it's tounge out! :headshot:
  17. Scotty, I feel sick :spew: , another skyline trashed for the deck. Depending on what they broke the window with depends on whether the shock sensor would have picked it up, if you have one. maybe a paging alarm is in order, you would have to be sure that you park within it's range to be effective. Tracking systems are too expensive and it can take 5 mins for them to call you if they get an alarm. Not many wreckers in melb have skyline parts at the moment, but this place may,TOP jap autos 9791 1811 (dandy) i don't like these guys due to their phone manner but if they have parts who cares right.Let me know if i can help, good luck with your repairs. :headshot:
  18. That is not a good look! you may want to try second hand tyre places as well, you never know what you will find. you should replace both rears as tyres should match left to right. there is a second hand tyre place on abbots rd in dandenong south if that's any help.
  19. Just cars gave me agreed value on my series one 33, from what i've seen a clean sub 100,000km series1 33 can range from 15k to 22k I paid 15 for mine and insured it for 18. :headspin:
  20. Fane, that sucks, glad you're ok, those rims are multiple piece mabe you can order the outer rims only, that would have to be cheaper than entire wheels. your paint looks like it will come up nice with a cut & polish. Good luck with the repairs. :cuss:
  21. Dear Wardest, I am dropping my car off at a workshop today to have my bodykit fitted and some paint and panel work, I have never liked taking my cars anywhere to get work done and am paraniod that the result will not be up to my high standards. This is in no way a reflection on the gentlemen carrying out the affore mentioned work, rather a genetic disposition on my behalf toward not trusting anyone. Please help me with my inner battle, sincerely - Danny
  22. look :boobs: :aroused: :69: :boobies2: :whackit:
  23. don't provoke him man, death by souvlaki is not a pretty sight!!
  24. Nice, did you buy it to put around in or for drift? :burnout: :whackit:
  25. Cobo11, I have had personal experience with this same noise you describe in a different car, and it was the thrust bearing. When the cluch was out the thrust bearing was making slight contact with the pressure plate fingers resulting in a crappy sound. When changing down gears it sounded like the 3 stooges were in my gearbox woop wooop wooop. have seen a similar problem with other cars when the return spring on the cluch fork was damaged/streched or missing. And cable operated clutches the same. Chances are that the problem could be more complicated than this but you never know with cars. :whatsthat
