Sorry if I added to the confusion, I avoided the 6 mth suspension once due to a loop hole in demerit point allocation many years ago. At that time the demerit points seemed to only get added when the fine was paid. I would like to commend people for not jumping on the band wagon and slamming R-SPEC, the vast majority of young car lovers tend to drive for many hours in a day and drive in areas that police frequent, so the occasional woot on the skinny pedal can be bad for your finances or travel arrangements. I am an old fart now and tend to take it easier....... also won't see me down Chaps often in the Skyline... usually in the Rav4 or the Celsior as these cars don't give me an ulcer when I park them and walk away. Prime opportunity to make your car prettier while it is off the road.

I suppose thats lesson learned for you, I learned my lesson when a mate and I pulled over to help some hotty just to find she was with 2 animals that were in some ones front yard stealing garden hose and petrol. They chased me away and then nearly killed my friend and car jacked him. Very scary stuff, I pulled every muscle in my body carrying my friend to someones house to call the cops. I now am very reluctant to help anyone these days and usually have my son with me so will not risk it. Funny thing is that I knew these animals and they were so juiced up that they did not recognise me or care what they were doing, I thought my mate saw what was going on and would take off after me to pick me up and piss off. Mind you, if we did not stop they most likely would have hurt the silly girl they got a lift from. If I was put in your situation with my experience I would have run the red light, I have done this before to avoid crazy road ragers. Remember hind sight is always 20 20. Just deny that you did that amount of damage and drag it out for a year or so, then they will settle for less, also go through the itemised list of repairs to be carried out and you will see alot of stuff you are not responsible for. Drag it out and ask for proof and documentation, they hate having to prove themselves, they just try you on for size and most of the time they get away with it. I had RACV insurance tell me that their insured driver was drunk when she hit me and that i will never see a cent, months later I got my money but not without them trying every trick in the book to get out of paying out. Dreams are free, I found 3 in Japan last year that were worthy of Import, in very good condition, I dont know if the guy I was searching for ended up Importing one. They are nuts, you would not want to modify it.

I have looked into this for my 33 4dr and the parts i found were indeed fiberglass add ons, together with gtr front guards = fat & sexy. look for them in japan and use an agent to brin them in.
