  1. I still have the instruction/manual of some of the parts when purchased new. All the parts have around 6000KM on it only.
  2. Hey Guys, I am selling my full set up. Everything on the set up only have 6000km on it and looks sprakling new. Original plan was to swap everything over to my R34 GTR but plan changes. The whole set up is still in the car and once I get a video or dyno/compression test, I will put it out. Here are the spec for the set up: - R34 Nur spec long Block (it is 24U so it is a N1 block with N1 internals) I can provide engine serial number for those who are serious - Exhaust cam has been converted so I can use the R32 CAS - HKS V-cam Step 1 - HKS front mount intercooler - HKS Twin turbo intake pipe - HKS Intercooler hard pipe kit - HKS Type S oil cooler - Trust T517Z twin Trubo - Trust/Greddy oil catch can - Sard Racing fuel rail - Sard 800cc injectors - Aeromotive Fuel Pressure regulator - Splitfire coil packs - Brand new Coil harness - Apexi power FC L jetro with commander - HKS V-cam controller - HKS EVC 5 boost controller - EXedy carbon twin plate clutch - rebuild power steering pump - Brand new alternator The set up is a full engine and comes with engine harness, ECU, everything you will need to swap into your GTR or GTST (need a rwd pan). I will NOT part out the set up at all so don't ask. I am selling it as a whole. The engine is still in my R32 GTR. I can do a walk around, cold start, any video as your request if you are interested. For more info, please email me at [email protected] The price is very fair. The parts cost alot if you've done your research so please be reasonable. The engine is located in Vancouver, BC Canada. I am asking $15,000USD or $21,000 AUD. You can arrange your own shipping or I can get a quote for you and you can compare the price. I am very active on GTRcanada and Zilvia.net under the same user name. I am also on instagram under cw_unit if anyone wants to check my credibility.
  3. I live in Canada.. I appreciate your help though. So i would need an auto ECU but series one would work?? what do i do with the ignitor chip???
  4. Hi, i picked up a auto RB25 series II motor for cheap. However, it doesnt come with the harness and ECU. To my understanding, the series II doesnt have an ignitor chip and its internally bebuild in in the ECU. What i wonder is If i can use a Series I harness and Series I ECU? It is very hard to find a series 2 ECU, so I wonder if i can use a series I harness and run an external ignitor chip. Any input will be Great.
  5. so all i need is the R33 gts-t yoke and get it custom welded to the R32 shaft. doesnt anyone know the length of the driveshaft? i need to give the measurement to the guy who makes the shaft, however, my car is not drivable and he lives very far from me.
  6. I am putting a RB26 into my R32 gts-t and i am using a RB25 series 1 gearbox. I was searching on the forum but there is nothing about modifying hte drive shaft. I don't know what do i have to do the drive shaft? The guy who is modifying the drive shaft needs to know the measurements of it. any advice would be great. thanks
  7. I am thinking of getting either a R34 N1 turbos or HKS GT-SS. they are both good for around 350-400whp and have good responds.
  8. T04GTR, thanks for the detail reply. it is very helpful. so now i come down to this N1 piston rings N1 pumps tomei head restictor tomei con rod bolt acl sr20 big end bearings scl rb30 main bearings N1 harmonic balancer (how will this help in reliability wise???) OEM Gasket kit R33 crank (used) Also, can you explain more regarding on fitting the bearings?? it gets kind of confusing.. Perhaps if anyone can send me a link of where you can get 80 bucks N1 piston?? I normally buy stuff on yahoo auction in japan, is there other source?
  9. oh, really? is n1 piston better than stokc? whts the different?? also can anyone direct me to the sticky forum?? i have search the whole faq and found nothing.
  10. haha, i got a gd deal on those N1 piston. 700USD shipped with rings and pin. don't think i can get a set of forged of that price. so i will need a tomei head restrictor for it? so a gd set of rod bolts?? do i need new head studs too?? sry i am new to this engine rebuilding thing. Also i am wondering do i order standard size bearings or i need to get the little wax thing and figure out the cleareance?? i got very confuse over this because someoen told me standard size is ok. which one is true?? thanks
  11. i am going to buy a rb26 in a month or so and i am figuring out what i need to get the engine refresh. I am not going to run big horse power so i'll stick with oem internals. here is my plan for the rebuild. N1 piston N1 oil pump N1 water pump oem gasket kit oem main bearings oem con rod bearings R33 crank (if i couldnt find a jun collar) I will be running stock turbo and stock boost but i will be doing some upgrade soon. I am looking around 400whp after i get new turbos and all the supporting fuel mods. Here is the question i have. What is the different between the N1 and stock piston? Will this set up be able to withstand 400whp reliably? I am using this as a track/drift/autox car, will it stand my abuse?? is there anything i will need to add or remove?? i just want to confirm before actually going to purchase these parts, thanks for all the help.
  12. thanks for the reply guys and i really appreciate it. A rb25 box is very hard to come across, let alone finding a good condition one. but yea, i will drop him a pm and hopefully he can give me a hand.
  13. what i mean to cut the transfer case of its that i want to remover the part that sticks out. and bolt a plate over to cover the hole. I am located in Canada and there is no one doing a rb26 swap to a gtst that i know of. My plan was orignially save the money of getting a rb25 box n use it to rebuild the engine. i know the cutting part sounds weird but i have seen some people doing it, don't know if it is the best way though.
  14. I am currently doing a RB26 swap to my R32 gtst. I have searched on this in all the silvia forums regarding on making the rb26 rwd. There are different method but i wonder which one will be better. Should use the GTR tranny and cut the transfer case? then weld a plate on top? or should i just get a RB25 tranny? i am asking because i know it will take some work to get the rb25 to work with gtst cluster. Also, the engine will come with a gtr tranny so i dont want to sell it and buy another unknown condition rb25 tranny. Is the GTR tranny going to work? whts the bad side of cutting the transfter case off?? thanks
