AND the fact that it stepped out so fast would indicate to me there is probably an LSD in there! YEEHAA! now that your expecting it .. just drive a bit more mellow , and when its wet get out there and bust some skids ! YEEEHA! they are supposed to be very easy to keep under control ( cause of the long wheelbase ) do you know if it has an aftermarket turbo ? or what PSI its running maybe the boost controller is building boost too fast and thats what made it pop out so badly!? or maybe you have some 500Hp monster under there

hey matey.. sounds like one hell of a trip you have going there! I am sure the local Sydney / Brisbane Skyline owners will make you more than welcome . but .. just be sure you know the travel distances involved. I am not saying you dont know how far it is between cities but some people dont seem to grasp the enourmity of Aus. A Long inter city drive would be awesome... its a lovely place to travel in..

umm .. can you clarify something .. what exactly does that mean ? is 10.5-14.6 a range ? or is that city/highway? or highway/city?

hmm .. yeah. the other 2 L dont want to come out cause they dont exist! more than likely spat out your tailpipe never to be seen again - do what Dale suggested and see what happens. If that fails just do an RB26DETT upgrade.

hey Ryan .. I am very interested in discussing this .. I was going to get the swaybar so that I could get a bit of the body roll out of the Stagea .. but now your saying they did SFA for you? well... not really SFA but 5/8ths there of have you gone thru all these suspension changes in an orderly manner? cause sometimes chaning manythings at once leaves you a bit confused as to what made what difference ( if that makes sense ) can you define " sloppy" is that more in the fact that you still have a good amt of body roll? just out of curiosity what profile tire you running? lower profile will give you a harsher ride but it will definately give you less roll in the corners. May I ask how much the whiteline camber/castor bushes set you back ?

hmm .. well if the seller has no clue then perhaps get someone to diagnose the sound for you.. then you can work out roughly what it will cost to fix .. then knock that and some more off your offer price.. you could come out ahead if the owner is clueless.

hmmm what did the dealer/seller have to say about it? the fan for the a/c sometimes gets stuff in it - like ours does now.. and it sounds zigactly like you mentioned.

well ceasing to exist is better for me than paying for a gearbox rebuild! well I dont know for a fact how long its been on .. lotty drove from down south up so I am not sure how the car felt to her! I only noticed it when I drove into work today. I thought it just stopped the car from shifting into 1st gear and stopped it hitting hi boost?

on the topic of that stupid F&&king snow button ! I hate it cause every now and again it gets mysteriously turned on .. does it do damage to the tranny driving it around in that mode with not a snowflake to be seen ?
