I applaud your ingenuity! I wanted to locate mine there but was not smart enough to work out a bracket for it like you did. Instead I got a PWR 6cyl cooler and fitted that near where the original one was. hey.. tell me if you notice that your aircon is HEAPS COLDER! once I moved the factory cooler out I think the AC condenser gets more airflow so we noticed ours was lots cooler than it was before

I got told that 225 45 17 should be same rolling diameter as 215 50 17?? Was he full of shit?

So if your 235 fit the 225 should be fine yeah? I just don't wanna order tyres then get stuck when they don't fit

Ok to cut a long story short, I did have a look thru the various wheel threads but they focused more on the wheel offset etc Vs actual tyre fitment. the 215 50 17 size that the Stagea has now is limiting our choice of replacement tyre. Has anyone actually FIT a 225 45 17 to their C34 S2 , ours has the "autech" rims not sure if they are any different than others. I just dont want to order the tyres then get em here and they dont fit. Anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks for the clarification, I have only ever pulled apart and cleaned an SR20DET one , so I thought it might be the same. am I right that the AAC differs from the IACV?

have you cleaned the Idle Air Control Valve? thats the 1st thing I woudl be looking for, My pulsar used to idle like sh1t until I got that IACV cleaned. its basically a disc that moves over a hole to adjust air on idle. Its connected to a bi metalic strip. I can give you a Rough idea of how to clean it. Perhaps just PM me as I might not see theupdate in this thread do I get a chocolate frog or a gold star if I win?

I have laid across the back seat when moving a boxed 46 inch LCD tv. oh and my mate had to sit with a fluffy pink subwoofer on his knees, cause it wouldnt fit anywhere else. TBH I am a bit disapointed in the stag. 3 of us went down south , Lotty and I shared a bag, we had an air matress , small tent, esky, small webber , a guitar , my mates bag , dooner . pillows and it was packed to the rafters

I would just leave the factory BOV in place. The other reason why I am not a fan of ATMO ( ie louder ) BOV's in auto's ( I presume your Stag is Auto? ) is that the auto seems to make the BOV go off at werid times. I guess the same is true with Manuals ( ie rev, back off , flutterz )

LOL - interesting thread! since I dont drive the Stagea daily I dont really know what its like, but tell you what used to get SH!TLOADS of " offers " in my NA n14 pulsar... was classic beating a 6cyl falcon/commo off the line, thats even before I converted it to turbo! oh and for some reason the S15 seems to get people angry. Lots of d1ckheaads want a go in that , but oddly enough only when my partners driving it??? ( the tint is so dark you cant really see much ) I kinda miss it to be honest. Always nice handing someone their ass on a plate when they dont expect it. Though i think as soon as they cotton on its a turbo most people dont bother ( NA falcon ./ commies )
