  1. well matey Its been a 10hr day for me so I am hitting the road!
  2. horrible way to go whenever I feel like going for a hoon I always look thru www.wreckedexotics.com and seeing some of the high speed crashes there definately makes you think twice! my dad used to race formula 2 until his mate died in the same race he was in! make sure it does not end " like father like son " ok?
  3. ooh have a search for the XP power toys image resizer will save you plenty of time posting up photos
  4. oh and sorry to hear about your dad passing away
  5. does this count?? popemobile!
  6. has anyone gone to the effort to extend ( what I beleive ) is an easy mod one step further? would be good if you could get a 2 way switch to allow you to go between the 2? Ie .. stock setup - low boost till 4000rpm then full boost from 0 - redline could be a good thing to do
  7. I was going to be pedantic and say the model designator is actually C34 but then I noticed the badge on the front grill whats the go with the kit? who made it etc? overall nice looking car
  8. is the only diff between the 2 the font and line thicknesses ? does this layout vary from S1 to S2?
  9. no I meant more " where is he" as in .. come in and discuss this with us!
  10. One of the things to keep in mind is: if your using smaller rims ( say a 16 /17 inch vs 1 18/19 inch rim ) you can afford to buy " better rubber " for the same price as buying cheapish tyres for the larger rims.. so you might be able to get some really well contructed and grippy tyres in a 15/16/17 inch rim when you can only afford el cheapos in the larger rim size.
  11. so nobody has anything technical to add to this? Where is Duncan anyways?
  12. AAAH ! ok now I geddit! one is a BEFORE run ( red line ) and one is the after line ( blue ) would have been good to have it on 2 different graphs to see what the before power peaked at ( I know I can just read it off the graph but I am Le Lazy )
  13. haa. your going to wish you never bought this up !! so did you do 2 runs with different settings / ie high and low boost? or was it just 2 runs?
  14. hey man .. I had a VERY similar problem , mine was linked to a dodgy AFM want to see my graphs? PM if you do .. I need to go back and have a further gander at those dyno graphs so your telling is that the jagged line was it cutting fuel?
  15. that things HOTTT!!! and Dale - yeah .. woodgrain interior.. well .. a faux woodgrain most likely ours has that too .. and not having " seen it in the flesh " I hope its a good implementation of a woodgrain interior
  16. yeah from what I have heard the fuel tends to get a bit gummy over time .. but less than a year should be ok but -learn a lesson from another person that did something similar ( to an expensive jaguar I think )' he had his car in storage for ages and took it out .. didnt really do much .. took it for a thrash and killed the motor due to the oil being crap after not being used for so long I would take it easy when you drive it again .. and its probably strongly advised to do a basic service on it when you get back ( change oil , oil filter , fuel filter etc. )
  17. yeah I would tend to go for the most direct fit possible. bear in mind some of the Bosch Pumps can be quite noisy! do you know what orientation the sock/filter is on the stock pump? because you really want to get a replacement that sits in the cradle properly and also the sock/filter sits low in the tank ( or you might get surging round the corners ) If you DO have to " rig something up " make sure the sock is at the rear most part of the little basket/basin the sock sits in. NOTE: I am ASSUMING that the sock is surrounded by a little plastic basin thing that the return line feeds back into .
  18. I would rather have a massive pedal I cant miss in an emergency ( cause its so freakin big ) rather than have a smaller pedal and a toaster to electrocute me when accidentally stick my foot in it during an emergency stop !
  19. working now ! top work peeps!
  20. got any photos of the setup? also if you dont mind me asking how much did the kit set you back?
  21. the twin turbo isnt the only thing with the autech version .. so you do get more for your money other than just a stronger motor. so thats something else to keep in mind! also bear in mind that the stagea fuel economy is " thirsty at best "" and I Cant see the rb26dett being any less thirsty ( could cost you a small fortune if its your daily driver! )
  22. Cy (SKA) sent me a PM and I didnt get any email notification ( I use my work address , so its not hotmail etc ) hope that helps !
  23. I was alerted by someone else on these forums stating they didnt get their xenon lights back, so I made sure I rang and asked about it. Before I even got 1/2 way thru the sentence he assured me they bag everything they change and ship it over with the car. depending on how straightforward the swap over is I may or may not swap back to the xenon lights!
  24. haa.. thats a piss funny story.. I mean . its never fun finding your car being defiled by little snots like that. but you did give me a good laugh thinking of you sitting on one of the kids. sheesh! seems kids now adays are SO HELL BENT on growing up faster than they should! what ever happened to kids being kids you know? now kids seem to want to get laid at 10 and graduate college at 15 or something !
