  1. I would think that colour coded or the Charcoal colour would look good
  2. in the meantime you might want to look at some whiteline subframe bushes basically you can change the orientation of the diff to give you more traction this wont fix the root of the problem but its a good idea to do regardless only about $110 or so
  3. dig it up and you might find this guy * boom TISH!!!! * Geddit - Tresurer ?? ( read the sign in the pic ) if you STILL dont get it .. its Wayne Maxwell
  4. you might want to invest $50 or so in a oil pump ( I forget its actual name ) its basically like a big syringe with a hose on the end. Makes filling the diff etc SO much easier. PM me if you need more info -and I can get you a model number etc. it holds about 500ml of fluid at one time
  5. here are a few pics Lotty took
  6. If anyone wants the GPS data for the trip let me know can save it in GPX , GDB or even text
  7. Shame more people didnt come , you missed a good cruise. Colder than a witches tit in Quindanning - but the log fires made up for it. Thanks to John and Iolanda for organising it, was good fun. The fog on Sunday morning would have made for good pictures but I think everyone was too cold to venture outside to take any. Lotty took a few shots so I will post em up here soon as I get them. The Stagea didnt miss a beat all weekend..good cruiser indeed. Ray's Mustang got the most looks out of all the cars I think - stealing the glory I tells ya ! Would be interesting to visit the place in summer and hang out in the gardens having a drink
  8. incase anyone else needs to know where the meet point is http://www.google.com.au/maps?f=q&sour...752d13e87c4fbd7 its the A baloon thingo in the picture.
  9. Note that he can go past 5000 in other gears just not 1st! what boost controller is it running? I know the AVC-R that I have you can limit boost by gear, so that could be it - but even if that WAS it , would make no sense as you can still rev past 5000 if you are still making normal boost.
  10. YAAY - this is soon upon us! What time are we leaving and whats the meet point? Oh and CB's might be a good idea too - we are bringing 2!
  11. No you can get iridium plugs for $16 if you know the right places to look. Just out of curiosity- why are you against running copper plugs? just cause its a PITA to change them? I found the Irridium plugs made a big difference in my sr20DE motor- but I prefered coppers in the Sr20DET. Personal preference I suppose.
  12. 3rd ones get my vote.. I prefer the spoke to be more flat.. but yeah def the last ones
  13. I cant tell you definately about the beam focus- but some of the HID kits on EBAY are awesome quality and only around $100 or so bucks. So in my opinion I would definately give it a shot. Saw one of those kits in real life and this one particular brand (cant remember which one it is ) was really well made, looks like it should have cost much more,
  14. yeh sorry to hear it didnt work out as planned hopefully you were not out of pocket thru all of this
  15. make sure you pick the right loctite product - I think what you want is stud locker.
  16. I closed up bar with a Barmaid once.. biggest mistake ever.. oh the headache! so is this event stilll a goer or what???
  17. What boost controller are you running?( sorry I admit I am slack and didnt read the entire thread ) Sounds like it might be your boost controller letting you down. You would do well to stick it on a dyno so you can get an accurate reading of your boost levels ( and AFR etc ) I ditched the standard boost controller and got a TURBOTECH boost T . They use a spring and ball arrangement to build boost as fast as possible. Warning though they are very fiddly to adjust - but having said that they are cheap enough so give it a shot. the guy who took lotty out on the AHD track day said our stag felt a bit quicker than the others. so I wonder if the boost controller had anything to do with that? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Turbotech-manual-tu...A1%7C240%3A1308
  18. I will ask Lotty if she is interested. Also if you open it to non stageas I might bring the s15
  19. Sorry matey!! Price I am not sure on as I cant really find anyone to compare it against. I am thinking maybe $600 the set? I am located in Perth WA. hard to get a good resale value on these as I cant find any for sale locally
  20. yeah.. I expected a bit more of a response too.
  21. These were on the car when I got them , but not really my cup of tea. a bit of dish to them Black & silver spokes Would look at a swap with rims of the same size / offset etc. or sell outright.
