If you get an NA one driving past no-one will know the difference whether its turbo or not I think parents who buy their kids turbo cars are irresponsible why dont they just give their son/daughter a loaded gun just to see what happens Your parents are doing the right thing, honestly look into an Australian Delivered r31 if you want a skyline that much, your insurance will be alot cheaper cos its not an import plus it has a bigger engine

Deffinatly look privately is my opinion, car yards are an absolute rip-off from what I saw when I was in the market a year or two ago. Sure they say they have a warranty but from what I have heard their warranties are generally useless. One good example, when Aristo's started popping up, some car yards had them for 22,000+ and much lesser quality then the better ones I had seen on j-spec for almost half that.

Honestly drive your GTS-T the way it is dont worry bout spending another cent on it, its just going to drop in value anyway with the market flooded, any mods will just mean more money you loose when you go to sell it as there are plenty of modded 33's available. yeah it would be much cheaper and more convenient to do that, as R31's cost a pittance now. But i'm attached to the Pinny as much as i am to my DR are the skyline brakes any better then the pintara's? might just try to find some really stiff lowered springs for it to help improve the handling abit more.

CA20's arent that bad, im not sure if it is because mine was rebuilt a few years ago or not, but it still has abit of poke through the hills.... sure it doesnt quite keep up with my DR but still.... After a cruise last night through the hills, I bollocksed off any thought of a CA18DET or SR20DET conversion as its not worth the money Whats a good low budget brake + suspension upgrade for a Pinny?...... Also with power steering mine doesnt have it, is that something straight forward to do or does that require a different steering rack?? The R31 site doesnt seem to be working

Im going to re-spray the Rocker Cover and Mainifold, as mainifold is currently purple and I dont think the rocker cover i want a bright red. But Im thinking I will need to replace the Head and Turbo Inlet Manifold Gaskets when I do this?? Can someone point me in the right direction where to get some and what price I should be paying. ...Finaly I will actually be doing the work on my car myself

On regards to the CA18DET swap, is apart from the engine does anything else have to be swapped and are the brakes adequate? I have been thinking bout doing it to mine for some time. with my wagon and its manual too Though an SR20 would be better, would that be easy to do aswell? and congrats on the car amanda
