Hey guys, Due to the fact I will be looking for jobs up in the mines and oil fields next year, I've been thinking of storing my DR30 cos I really dont want to part with it. Does anyone have some good tips on storing cars, so I dont come back and find the thing rusted out and f**ked when i want to re-register it in a few years. cheers -Glenn

They f**ked the door up, and stole the e-boost gauge. apart from that no other damage. car was found 3 streets away. by the looks of things they stalled the car and couldn't start it again. from what I heard it looks more then likely the scum will get caught

where do you find atleast a copy of the trx kits. maybe one of them would go better on my wagon I like the look of the Pintara TRX but they are rare as rockinghorse shit. how much they sell for also? if there are any available.

where did you get your DR30 badges from and are they new?? ....wouldnt happen to be able to post up some interior shots, I want to have a nosey and see what the difference between the DR30 RS-X and a HR30 is.

is this a daily? if so how much a week does it cost to run? Allready got a DR30 Coupe for a weekender, just trying to suss if can affoard to be running 2 turbo cars. Also whats the insurance like with the r31's. I know my DR30 isnt too bad @ $930 full comp. but when i looked into cheaper R33's they were over 2.5k.

I was under the impression the first skylines came out at the end of the 50's, the first GT-Rs came out in the late 60's and stopped in the earlly 70's. As for the 'family man' thing, didnt they also made a 4 door GT-R back in the day? I personally think the Skyline Legacy Died after the DR30 RSX-C. R31 onwards seem to conventional in my personal opinion. I expect a skyline to be a pig of a car. mind you the next skyline I want to add to the stable is the 32 GT-R cos I have a thing for them too and the fact im not rich and I can only dream of owning something Pre R30 and with a GT-R or GT-ES Badge

Well its not like the 32, 33, 34 GT-R is that hard to come by as people make out theres allways a minimum few for sale. So of course they will drop in price, but..... then it will get to the point it will start rising again. look @ the price of the really old gt-r's (1968 i think??) saw one for $120,000+ not so long ago. GT-R V-SPEC I / II is another matter something like that, i would personally be happy paying the same sort of money for over the next few years.

Just wondering which cars shared the same electric window switches with the DR30, my rear switches were missing when i got my car and everything else is complete so its starting to bug me thats the only thing missing. Someone told me awhile back but i forgot which cars they said were identical, just incase I cant find any out an old MR30 wreck (im guessing the Ti had electric windows??) if i go to a wrecker they im suspecting they are going to charge me the earth for them too also does anyone have trouble getting their rear quater windows down, mine seems to struggle abit cos of the rubbers between the two windows. o and one other thing, on the right hand indicator stem, there is a button at the end of it, what does it do?? cheers -Glenn
