When I left school from my part time job I had saved enough money to buy a R33, but brought a $2000 pintara so I could save money for something I wanted, just drove that for 4 years paid cash when I found the DR30 I wanted ... still drive the pintara 99% of the time though :laughing-smiley-014: Being a well paid tradesman these days and not a povo apprentice, I could replace the DR30 with a 34 GT-R these days If I wanted, but would rather invest that money on a house and skyline #2 I have planned Advice on loan; If you finance a car, you end up paying alot more then the value of the car + by the time you have paid off the loan, the extra money you have paid on the loan you would of easily lost in the value of the car, then you add running/maintainance costs, so you just end up behind ... that was my parents advice O and living at home with your parents saves you loads of cash wasted on food/rent

Save for a gt-r with abit of work allready done, it WILL end up cheaper in the long run and by far with the price of petrol / thieves / policemen defecting / speeding fines / extra insurance for the mods.... whats the point? and wats wrong with N/A Im probally only going an RB25DE on my next project, because of those issues (and I hate turbo lag) though I have a realistic budget of $20K for engine/brakes/suspension/etc + unexpected surprises

I had alot of problems with one such place over an Intercooler because I thought It was going to be the quickest option I brought from **********, After over a month of f**king around and getting no-where, and dropping in after work every 3rd or 4th day, they tell me they cant get that sized intercooler through any company, since then I have found not just that sized intercooler but full systems made to fit a DR30 on Yahoo Japan from Greddy/Apexi every now and then and BRAND NEW:blink: After all that f**king around they would only give me is store credit which really sucks cos I dont want any of their other bling bling bullshit, I like my car looking original. So ended up just giving the store credit to my brother so he could get a new CD Deck and such. I know where you are comming from Reuben, If you are after an alarm still try Ministry of Bass, did a good job with my car and an old work mates. Even with getting extra points installed on my imobilisor it was still way cheaper then the other quotes I got. they are a trader on SAU so look them up

yeah went good, my Dr30 was dirty though, couldnt be bothered cleaning it because of the rain .. had a couple people checking it out, but quite alot walking right past it like usual :laughing-smiley-014: there was another one there, but was a full on drift pig didnt get any pics of it though. but as Howie said, would of been for Rims and ride height they 500C got done for If I knew you couldnt get a ride down I would of given you a ride mate

great event, pity bout the rain will post my pics up later tonight was mad seeing that red 2 door 1600 there again, cant stop saying how much i like the car.... kinda dissapointed there wasnt a KGC10 there what about the 500C getting defected out there on the street, I think the cop got more attention then any car at the show

with all the money you are going to spend with an RB26 etc etc, could probally get a nice stocky 33 GT-R cheaper in the long run, would look sexier then any kitted 33 and less of a headf**k doing an engine conversion. thats my 2 cents.

Doesnt surprise me, great little cars and very over looked! Sometimes I wish I had KE70 with a charger kit, becuase the DR feels too wide in some spots up the hills.
