Have you checked your base timing if its too retarded it will be gutless up top, mine was hitting R&R with 12 psi on the stock ecu as well so definitely wind it back a bit

what wattage bulbs are you using i found mine had 5 watters in there and they were to bright so i dropped to 3 watts which is pretty good if you have 5's in there they might get a little hot for the thinner plastic

it was where my first pipe off the intercooler joined with the crossover pipe just after it goes though the engine bay wall if that makes sense, it was joined with a silicone joiner it appeared as if it was perfectly sealed but the clamp was done up right on the edge of the metal pipe inside with a bit of air pressure it leaked like a siv. I'm a bit annoyed at myself that I didn't check the hoses more closely the first second and third time that i did it. Would of saved alot of stuffing around. a picture speaks a thousand words so they say

after lots of stuffing around ended up buying a supercheap aircompressor to check for boost leaks and found a massive one so problem solved!!

i put in a walbro a few months back and when it primes it sounds strong but i will still check it, how did you look at the gauge under load, i will have to get my little brother to sit on the engine while i boost down the road.

dont know anyone else with a 33, but i chucked the old coils back in and the problem is still there plugs are bcpr6es

Hi, was after a few ideas of things to check with my r33, the problem is soon as it starts boosting up it missfires to the point it just doesn't run, just coughs and splutters, this happens at about 4 psi, as soon as i back off runs perfect. Things i have tried to do to rectify the fault is change, ecu, spark plugs (all came out totally black), afm, cas, ignition relays checked, igniter (the earth seems good too, I asume its the one that goes under one of the coil holding frame bolts), JJR coils went in about a week before this happened aswell. I haven't yet pressurised the system to check for air leaks yet but all the cooler pipes seem well sealed. cheers

what are the wheel and tyre sizes I need new tyres, I bought some V35 rims but they came with 50 profiles which scrub, do you have side on pic i forget what they look like.

think someone said somewhere to get another ecu plug for the power fc and wire it in like a piggy back to keep original ecu operation for the autobox lots of wire chopping im sure.

safc will be fine with minor mods its just a bit of a compromise to a stand alone ecu because you cant adjust the timing so you might have to run a little richer up top do a search you will find shitloads of info on safc's

I had a datto 180B when i was 16 and it had piece of cloth over the top of the carbie it went hard for a week or two, I think all the oil that was coming out the side of the block was the problem........ I would never do this on my skyline, how much does an air filter cost???

I took my Verada to C&J for a uni chip install before I got a skyline and they seem to know there stuff, never had any troubles with service or anything was 1300 bucks though, for an extra 10kw atw woo hoo magna power! I was a bit nieve with prices then! I'm hopefully taking my ricer over to godzilla sometime soon when its sorted, for a tune was quoted 500 for a PFC witch seems very reasonable.

if your just after a pocket without a lid, i just went to the wreckers and got one out of a pulsar for like 5 bucks for my 33, was exactly the same as the nissan universal one autobahn was flogging off for 40 bucks
