  1. so which headlight globes did you get h1 55W? x 4 did the colours match with those parkers? cheers
  2. only for two hey well I needed new parker bulbs too will change them while my headlights are out for intercooler install which is like now
  3. well i just bought them thanks for the link was going to wait to buy some off some guy off SAU (666dan?) but he is away till October something
  4. nice colour 10 buck each though.... oops my mistake 10 bucks for 5 nice!
  5. think the T10 is just the bulb designation (wedge bulb) if its not written on the bulb or unless you know where it came from will be hard to tell though if you were really keen you could hook up one of the LED's to a 12V supply and use a multimeter to measure the current draw then use the formula P=VI to calculate the power (Watts) >e.g. you have a Bulb that runs off a 12v and draws 420mA, P=VI => 12 x 0.42 = 5 Watts
  6. yeah i was thinking that maybe there was 5 watters in there i'll get some 3's tomorrow
  7. r34 GTT intercooler plus air guide and piping to bold straight onto a r33. Some minor fin damage. $180 pickup Brisbane (i will post pics later if anyone is interested)
  8. if it not hooked up just unplug it and take it out, mines gone....
  9. r34 GTT intercooler plus air guide and piping to bold straight onto a r33. Some minor fin damage. $180 pickup (i will post pics later if anyone is interested)
  10. maybe I accidently shorted it putting the pfc in was lazy and never disconnected the battery because it such a pain to get in my boot, come to think of it I had a blown 'engine control fuse' what ever that is but it sure as hell made the pfc not work there was some serious clicking going on though thanks pm-r33
  11. Did mine today i removed bridge 6 six also and checked with pfc and it was spot on. I found the best way to align speedo was to sit it in the car with ignition on and set it to zero km/h and was spot on there after. The illumination light are very bright now though think i will have to get a dimmer or go for different bulbs/leds
  12. seems that the signal goes to the hicas for the variable steering weight then feeds to the ecu for the speed limiting function this is only a guess is there anyone with wire diagrams that can confirm this
  13. ok got it working disconnected battery for half hour and is now working go figure.... I have a cap so that might of been holding a bit of charge... thanks for all the help guys
  14. replaced hicas bulb and yes it does come on after a few minutes driving and heavy steering too how long did you disconnect for I did for like 20 seconds while the headlights were on but still had the problem. will disconnect for longer this time cheers
  15. got the quote today he said $500 with my basic mods, turbo back exhaust, 12psi boost, R34 cooler, pod, which seems pretty good sparkies already gapped at 0.8, coils removed and refitted with high temp silicone (was getting miss firing at 10 psi, had heaps of coils cracks) , hmmm oil has only done a few thousand clicks should probably change it I guess but that depends on level of motivation. 400KW is #$%^%^ crazy!!!
  16. pretty sure its connected, wire 53 is "Hicas Diagnostic wire/speed limiter" speed limiter worked with stock ecu i took my hicas light out when I changed the cluster as im going to remove it shortly (lockbar) and didnt want it glowing maybe i will stick the bulb back in I'll try a battery disconnect/drain, what exactly am I resetting hi-cas computer? its such a pain in the ass getting to my battery with the stereo mounted to the back board....
  17. ok the speed diplayed on the pfc handcontroller doesnt move from 0 km/h I have changed the cluster for another one as my tacho was dead but I changed it for another 33 turbo one but thats all I can think of been the problem "The PFC speed signal is from the gauge cluster so it won't read any differently." to install the 300k dials you have to pull the needles off and put them back on i want the pfc to display speed so I can check I put them on in the right place
  18. x-force one should be fine however I believe they have ceramic substrate which doesn't last as long as ones with a metal substrate but there are plenty of people on here that claim to have had a few years of trouble free use of. think the stock cat is only like 2 or 2.5 inch too so 3 inch will flow much better
  19. how reasonable were the prices? I have a fairly stock 33 just the usual bolt on stuff im guessing around 500? might give them a call tomorrow
  20. I definitely felt a bit of a power increase going from stock to highflow (i got the big catco) because the exhaust flowed so well afterwards I had boost creep issues though.
  21. wholly crap thats awesome need to get my pfc tuned and wynumm is like 2 k's away I cant believe i've never seen the shop!!
  22. I just purchased a pfc for a r33 and installed it all working good execpt its not displaying the speed on the hand controller is this normal? Has anyone else had this problem? did a search but came up empty handed.. dash speedo is working ok however i just installed the amec 300km/h kit and was hoping to check the accuracy of the speedo with the pfc. any help will be appreciated.
  23. mine sticks and clicks as well quite annoying isnt it. my switch gets stuck down if i pull it back up a tiny bit after winding the window down its ok. But yeah I will replace mine soon too
  24. got mine done the other day darkest legal for $300 mobile service, but i said i would come to him so got it for $250 but then I decided to do the sunroof as well so was $290 all up. The guy was really professional and did a good job. Highly recommended. The tint is really reflective so at certain angles it looks quite dark. QLD, tintmart at Geebung
  25. mine got stuck in a stainless pipe, heated it up with a butane burner and got it out but it left most of the thread stuck in the pipe was a bit of a mess it seemed like they had actually melted together just got it re-tapped and all was good hint: use anti-seize with the new O2 sensor, I learnt that the hard way.
