spot welds will be fine. only really need seam welds for stuff that is subjected to pressure or load.... if they diss you on this, i'd be very very surprised. the fact its welded rather than just installed should satisfy them btw, it is possible to have quiet exhausts which flow extremely well - writeoff has some master crafted exhaust system that remains quieter than my car, even tho hes pulling at least another 130 kw than I - its just a matter of how much ya wanna spend on the exhaust -D
-
ahh thats awesome - i was sure that regency were more anal about exhausts than that... I think they do require a catalytic converter attached from a certain manufacture or import date, but I feel a little relieved about that... I've never measured the junBL's... while theyre loud, theyre nowhere near as loud as some cars i've heard lately... its more of a drone (considering getting an oval junbl muffler and chucking it between the 2" muffler tips and the resonator.... not sure about performance restriction tho..) The junBL twins are a bit quieter than the kakimoto cannon that was on there previously, and they actually flow a tad better -D

Do tell! 100 octane mmm -D

Dude, pull your f**ken head in. If you got a problem with anyone here, then its >your< problem. You don't speak for me, and I quite like Dan's posts. You have no right to tell people what they can and cannot post. We have mods for that reason, and they haven't said anything... why? Because you're the only one getting the tampon in a twist. Next time you got an issue, bite your tongue and you won't look like an emo dickwad without a sense of humor. -D

the exhaust isnt quite that simple - if you have a car imported with the 15 year rule u can get away with it, if its been imported with sevs then it needs to meet emissions requirements, which means regency usually get anal and demand that you have a stock exhaust - call mark at Exhaust Technology, he might have a stock exhaust that u can rent off him -D

lol did u call my workshop tho? Road & Track? -D

nah thats the other bloke... while i am a linux engineer and am an advocate of open source, I don't have the same hatred some people do of microsoft products. Generally most things they do, they do well. If anyones had to play around with any other unnamed operating systems, they'd realized theres shortcomings in all operating systems and each one has their role to play. People are still using AS/400, QNX, OS/2 and Novell ffs... Got Win7 ultimate on the eee901, works spectacularly. Boots quicker than the release candidate which is on my quad core i7 with 12 gigs of ram tbh, but thats due to the SSD. Have fedora 12 linux dual booting on the same laptop and they take around the same time to load. While the ssd's dont load as quickly as the firmware on my hacked linksys wrt54gs (with embedded dd-wrt linux booting in 5 seconds) they are a hell of an upgrade over conventional drives oh and i love having a free copy of windows ultimate thanks to work. *thumbs up* -D

rofl, yeah i got mine too, #52 just got back from the mechanic. some touchup paint yet to go, but the front spoiler lip and weezy's teins are now fitted NOW the car is a a decent ride height. Contrary to what some (who havent seen my car) have said, it was way low before, only an inch clearance between the ground and the spoiler lip. Now I got 2.5 inches, which should be enough. The teins are pretty stiff compared to the bilsteins, but nowhere near as much as some people made it out to be. I'll know after loxton whether or not I'm gonna buy them (a good 3 hour drive there and back will decide it heh). Brakes also got bled for a 2nd time (as the seals in the caliper took a couple days to set) and now the brakes as firm as megan fox's arse... Oh and my boot release latch is working again. Porn you can't see. -D

Yeah I've noticed how happy youve become! -D

I had the lighting profile on the camera set to incandescent (rather than auto), which compensates for a lack of blue light given off by incandescent bulbs - when I went outside, the natural blue light was amplified. Looks kinda cool tho. Have had the solar panels for a fair while now, 3000 watts worth. Enough to power half of the house... -D

The sideskits you have definately aren't standard GTR kit, theyre type M's. Front bar is, and the rear pods look stock too (like dan says, the n1 has a lip that drops down, however it does look bigger than my pods). (I'd love to get a pair, anyone got a link as to how much they cost?) This is what stock r32 gtr side skirts look like -D Edit ; I see u edited ur post talbo, but I'd recommend Andrew at Goodyear on North East Road in Hampstead Gardens. Dude knows his stuff and has a 4 wheel aligner.

who? not me...I've been using the win7 beta on my desktop since it came out - was merely impressed that the eee runs it better than XP -D

I'll have to give it a miss tonight, my car will be in the workshop getting some paint done and weezys teins fitted.... -D

+1 million I removed XP off my Asus eee 901.... installed Windows 7 Ultimate... and its twice as fast as XP... boots in about 10 seconds vs 40 odd, and even has all the eye candy enabled... only driver issue i've had so far is the bluetooth driver for certain functions on my sony ericsson k850i but it works with the usb dvb-t dongle for the eee in media centre no problem... consult cable and software works well too configured win7 to tether to my k850i and dial nextG broadband for internet, works a treat... <3 win7 -D

Man I wish I was going to this one. Sounds like an awesome event -D

OK since we're documenting this, I might have to dl a hexterm and give some stuff a go Ben - R32 GTR 1989 Nick - R33 GTS-T S2 (year?) Jenna- R34 GT-T (year?) No doubt we'll get different values in some aspects, but its worth being thorough... Once I got my laptop sorted I'll chuck OBD scantech on and fudge around with it Cant recall what hexterm I used, it was suggested to me by the cat that makes the pda nisscan software Anyone else got a consult cable and feel like doing some snooping? -D

Anyone Able To Help Me Get A Car Back From Interstate ?
Dohmar replied to DamageInc's topic in South Australia
nah thats when you call them out without being a member and then you pay the dude on the spot for membership if you call them up on the phone, aka tomorrow, and apply for FULL raa plus/premium membership, you'll get full benefits the first time you call them - which is whenever you can get to melbourne to be honest get a tow for the car to the depot, and then get the free taxi to the airport/train station, then the next day call RAA again and get another tow - standard benefits are few, but the plus at least gives you unlimited call outs and the towing.. -D -

are you an RAA member? they do free towing to a certain point If not, sign up tomorrow, will cost u $115 for RAA plus, and then head over to melb and call them, make em tow it to the depot, and do the same when it arrives in adelaide Problem solvered -D EDIT - They tow up to 20km in the city and up to 100km in rural areas for RAA Plus. RAA premium gives you 50km in the city, 200km in the boonies -
yeah but the shit thing is, nissan changed the hicas from hydraulic to electric from the r32 to r33, but they marketed both of them as being 'super hicas'. 'hicas' itself is the first edition found on JDM r31's -D
