Sounds like a bit of fun, but having drive the Adelaide - Ceduna route a couple times, that is a days drive right there - you're pushing it over 2 days .... its a long hike, I'd recommend 3 days from Perth to Adelaide and 1 day from Adelaide to Melb - Leave tuesday and you'll be right Could be easier if your wife is with you and can take turns driving, but like weezy says if you'd like to meet folks, then the 'Cafe De Villis' just off South Road in Richmond is where many people meet. -D

i could also add that pete (sled) and luke (lukeenr34) did an admirable job of fitting my front rotors and the 2nd hand pads they found that were infinately better than the ones I had .. eternally greatful -D

cool we should butt heads sometime and organise a time for a fitting session - im going to buy gtrtechs stock r32 gtr suspension first because ive been wanting it for ages - and its good insurance for regency - cant get any other suspension till then, but if theyre decent for oz roads and street legal, then i'd be interested -D

yeah, had the front bar and the rear bar resprayed on the weekend spoiler is a 2 part mould and the insides have started to give way, so the dude is separating the mould, scooping out the expanded shit and bonding them with fiberglass n1 spoiler i bought off blue32 couldnt be salvaged sadly, but for the price he sold it to me, i cant complain anyhow so i wont be rocking the n1 spoiler to the shows but should be decent... spoiler goes on this weekend (pending confirmation) and getting a couple dings in the boot and bonnet resprayed at the same time... few months time I'll get the door seals replaced and might get further touchups - who knows how many chips i'll have incurred. gonna eventually get the lip for the front spoiler resprayed and fitted but not till i can a) locate replacement plastic underskirts/ducting and b) till the suspension gets raised. I dont care what none of ya'll say, I'd rather have no lip than to scrape the lip (or have to slow to 2kph to negotiate a simple rain duct - f**k that yo) gtrtech has some stock suspension i'm keen to buy but i keep getting one expense after another *sigh* working 4 days a week sucks too -D

He did spin a bearing - not sure about the 7000 rpm part, but he did it during the middle of an SAU cruise - engine was well and truly warmed up by then. i daresay its more to do with the engines getting 20 yrs old + I've spent over $20k just fixing bits and pieces, making the car look and feel as new rather than going for the performance mods - I will be, no doubt about that, but I respect the fact that many people who have invested a lot of money into their engines have still blown them - which is why I've ordered N1's to replace my stock ceramics. The thought of those 20 yr old turbos is insurance enough for me to not over-rev or hammer it too hard - cant wait till I get my tax return, put it that way Once I get those turbos replaced, some forged pistons, and a sump/head oil baffle and head return, wahey > *chants* here comes e-vil doh-mar here comes e-vil doh-mar -D

Would like to add, Dan sent the leds really quickly and for a very good price - you'll have no problems with his series 2 led's... and incidentally, I can help people fit the leds but only in R32's as Im not familiar with the 33s or 34s -D
