Saw an immaculate early 70s Ford Capri Perana at my mechanics workshop.... immaculate interior, paintwork, the engine bay was detailed and it had a 6 litre v8 with twin weber carbs.... I barred up... Also saw at the same place an original XB ford falcon with a vortech supercharger.... the paintwork is original and looks like shit but theres a lot of work done under the hood... aussie muscle at its finest And also at Road n Track, an original 1st generation Ford Thunderbird Convertible.. (1957-59) ... so hot... I love the older cars when theyre kept in good nick, and this example is an LHD with the original orange paintjob and white canopy, white wall tyres and orange rims too Wish I had more cash... would love to collect some classics ... different philosophy to a GTR of course but they make awesome cruisers/street machines -D

I had some problems with the earlier red leds I bought (voltage issue) but since I switched to the new blue ones (16v) I've had no problems at all... been running solid for 18 months now -D

total nonsense the gtr lip looks like a cowscoop attached to a train when the car is a) lowered and b) doesnt have the sideskirts to match which incidentally the nismo lip came out before they thought of making nismo skirts and pods - they always painted the lower lip a dark color so it wouldnt be as noticable when people looked at the car as a whole... and i totally reject the notion that the car is somehow lacking - you look at that front bar and tell me its lacking compared to any bitch arse softcock silvia or gtst bar > the bar works on its own yo, f**k a lip adrian & luke = fail -D Edit and I have to add, that mismatched black bonnets look really really toy just my opinion tho, pay no heed

I took it off 2 years ago. Where have you been? It kept scraping shit and didnt line up with the contours of the side skirts and the rear the lip looks good on cars that have the sides and pods to match, but I have stockers and want to keep the stock look there is a reason why they generally paint that lower lip black - so people dont notice that its there.. but ignoring all that shit, i just like the look from the front without the lip. its more refined, more subtle, without losing any of the aesthetics of the original nismo bar -D

got car back today from weekend spray part 1 need to straighten out my numberplate after the bashing its had... am now rocking the wingless look for the next 7 days. got some racing tape over the spoiler holes.... wing has actually separated (being a 2 piece mould) and so the dude im using is getting the inside hollowed out to remove the excess resin, and putting in a fiberglass reinforcement. Sadly, he could not fix the n1 spoiler lip I purchased for $50 as it had a steel reinforcing rod underneath a rubber exterior, and the steel had rusted thru in several places and expanded due to rusting... oh well, you win some, you lose some... -D

hitler made the classic mistake of initiating a war on two fronts - in the age of aerial supremacy this isnt so much an issue, infact the US has designed two separate fleets so they they can fight a conventional arms war on two fronts, but i digress the british pretty much wore hitler/germany down, and then he stupidly attacked russia due to a delusion that the british were weak (in spite of the fact he muchly admired the british and greatly rued the fact they declared war on him - he honesly thought they wouldnt.) Thats a damn good point - i honestly dont know. I'll find out The indoor event takes precidence as its a way to get the word out about SAU-SA and meet and greet potential members/enthusiasts... The outdoor event (as I understand it) is a secondary event for anyone to enter as an individual or a group - naturally we'd love to spread the word more and have a better representation... and we shouldn't be picky either, m35's, v35's, stags, c10s, dr30's, even nice 200sx or 240sx wouldn't be astray in the show and shine ... if matty had his driftcar working, that too would be a good representation- shows arent always about bling, more its a chance to show off your own philosophy - if u wanna go balla style, H-town style, or Riced up, or tastefully restored classic, drift/track car, whatever, its all worth showing off regardless of the comparison between vehicles Would like to get more of the track whores to show their cars off at these demos ;D -D
