  2. I always thought IXL 005 would be a cool plate aside from the fact you'd get pulled over (even more) than usual -D
  3. heh garrett or gtfo - does this mean you might be pulling out? -D
  4. Spotted a white r33 behind me travelling from Ascot ave, down north east road and onto main north road... thought it was kellie for a while till I noticed the numberplates were standard SA plates... maybe she has an evil twin? -D

  8. I like my plates tbh, makes it easier for people to spot Personal choice really... I ummed and aahed about it until i said 'screwit' and just made the purchase... infact I think I remember telling someone how much of a wank they were before getting them. I have trouble making up my mind sometimes... -D

  12. I dont think he was out of line, but he could have been more diplomatic about it. I blame him being a ranga for that. But yeah. ffs, spotting ur own fking car is pissweak at the best of times unless ur sled and have sold the pride and joy -D
  13. thing is tho, regardless of the fuel air and boost ur pushing in the mofo, if ur afms and fpr are working fine, u should be able to get a 100% epa approved tune all the time. as long as ur ecu and sensors can deal with the settings, or they have more samples per second to correlate the lambda against, u shouldnt have an issue. ur right tho pete, most people who do the cheap mods dont care about such things but im going to make my car a case in point if necessary. a 100% street gtr with legal mods and none to shabby performance. its laik that shampoo add. it wont happen overnight, but it will happen -D
  14. i look at you dan, and i get an instant soft on im suing for damages -D
  15. Taken from the intersection of grand junction and south road. i got closer and the flames were visible i hope they catch the little douchebags responsible... apparently one teenager has been apprehended good. -D
  16. the turbo change itself isnt going to cause emissions its the ability of the auxilliary gear with a top end turbo, if they got the right resolution for their afms, o2 sensors, the ecu control over their injectors and sparks, then i dont see a reason why the emissions cant be equalled or bettered -D
  17. got any IT experience ? i know of two companies looking for engineers, but u need to have a fair bit of xp. -D
  18. well he didnt make himself look like a dick as many first posters do plus, hes taken umbrage against some semi incorrect information (aka "rumors") being spread around. I'd be smegged off too but we all friends here, we should all realize that the net is a stupidly impassionate place to discuss. no body language, no tone of voice, or context to interpret the words. which means, we, all of us, should relax, and drink a big cup of 'shut the f**k up' and smoke some 'chill the hell out' cigars too making love is infinately more profitable than making war, unless u got stock in northrop grumman -D
  19. jesus man... how can u own an slr and not know how to use it? generally its the other way around if i see u on a meet with ur camera, i can def give u a couple lessons but generally there are 3 things to worry about a) ISO rating b) depth of field c) focus get them each right and u wont have an issue. Depth of field is a floating art since it varies depending upon ur aperture and the type of lens u use but thats a dark science for the pros to play with - if u have a fixed lens slr its very easy to get used to the details -D
  20. well considering the fire was 40 metres high, 40 metres square wide, and i could see it from the beach, i daresay man it'd be a good thing if u trimmed ur resume and put it out ASAP dont ever wait for companies to abandon you. get ur foot in the door before it hits u on the way out! (personal opinion) -D
  21. I gotta agree with Cronic here.... theres nothing more annoying than seeing people spot their own cars if that were the case I'd be reporting here daily about every time i took it to work and writeoff would be talking about everytime he went to the crash repairer to discover that nothing had been done and cronic having looked at his car for the last 9 months while it did sweet f**k all please keep your 'own car news' to wasteland. i hate this 'spotted my own shit, in my own crib' type posts -D
  22. f**k i wish i knew about this before i shelled for a pair of blown turbos and paid a $200 deposit on a rebuild fkn spewing -D
  23. have to say i agree while the scene between jap imports and v8 supercars couldnt be more polarised, i have to say that many folks with skylines have a healthy respect for what a high displacement v type engine can produce while i love my gtr, i know its not the same as a countach engine, or a corvette engine, etc. its all about the aims and the application, and the more i learn about each the more i appreciate different philosophies.... would love it if a skyline had the instant torque a 7lt v8 had, but those 7lt v8's dont have the 'push me back into the seat' acceleration that a turbo does... - each to his/herself, i know where my love lies that said, i like engines tuned for response and streetability, because im no speed racer and dont delude myself otherwise - tho i wish i had the budget to pretend ;D and id have to agree with ruby - regardless of the engineering specifications, it'd be a real rush to bear witness to any tight knit team do what they have trained to do, what they are best at... oh, but to be a fly on the wall... -D
  24. Sexy as hell car man. I saw it a couple weeks ago near the holden hill cop shop. If your sons ever get tired of looking after it, I know someone who wouldnt mind *nudge nudge*wink wink* heh, kidding.... or am I ? lols -D
  25. nice big plume of black smoke across the northern burbs - pgs (plastics granulating factory) has caught fire in kilburn i could see the plume from semaphore... 30 metre tall flames as i drove past.... fireys are worried cos there are lpg tanks nearby and folks have been evacuated from their houses... looks like every cop in adelaide is down there sooooo go for a cruise if you're bored, they got bigger fish to fry tonite lols -D
