+1 million. Kids don't need high powered cars. And if you're younger than me, you're a kid Foetuses (17-22 yr olds) should be in priuses. -D
-
Its loud! (Supertanker Engine Room) Check out the size of the turbos haha -D
-
Yeah those engines are just used to generate electricity, the final drive motor is all DC... the big ship engines have the crank directly connected to the screw, which is why they have something like a max rpm of 300 but still do 100,000 odd horsepower ;D -D

Happy Ending! Hooray! -D
-
Those pics are insane. I would have thought for something that big that they'd mount all the bits together inside the boat itself -D

well said, but it only proves that hollywood thinks that bogans are wak I for one never understood burnouts as a piece of appeal. 1/4 miles, sure. Race laps, sure. Drifting, not so much but at least there is some beauty in watching it. But making a wheel spin until the rubber liquifies and combusts? Shit. even a ford laser can do that. small minded entertainment for small minded peasants. -D

And you'd be right too. A month ago there was yet another uninformed news.com.au article with the typical knee jerk reaction of the uninformed militancy. Something saying that the road toll was going up. Spend 5 minutes with my leet Google-Fu skillz and brought up the 1907-2007 fatality statistics for SA. It has, and continues to, go down every year every since 1967. Funny that this was around the time that muscle cars were released but I digress. There will always be outliers and statistical anomalies, which means that sometimes we get more fatalities in a year than the last. It happens. Thing is, we're always going to have a) tall poppy syndrome (penis envy - aka people annoyed that you have something nice and resent that fact out of jealousy). then theres b) Curmudgeons (the sort of folks that hate other people enjoying their lives and just whinge about what theyre powerless to change). Dickhead crews like ACC and RCK don't do anyone favours, but they generally cater to wannabe criminals and gangsters, teenagers and glue sniffers. They don't use their brains much, and pull stupid stuff like what happened in Pt Wakefield without realizing that journos were there. If theyre stupid enough to have journos, then theyre stupid enough to have undercovers, and hopefully, said undercovers can crust them for stupidity. If I'd been driving down Pt Wakefield road and had to slow down because of some inbred bogan doing burnouts >IN The Middle Of the f**king Highway< then the dark half of my soul might be inclined to put the foot down and take out a few spectators to prove a point. I wouldn't of course. But I'd be pissed off. These people do not and never have represented us or our mindset. The people in the know understand this. Relax. Take a deep breath. Let the morons hyperventilate in their self righteous pontification about 'hoons' and let the 'hoons' get nicked for doing stupid stuff on public roads. -D

guffaw red light district = kevvos house -D

You could think that, but you'd be wrong. And yeah its your choice, but if you crash, or get your car stolen without comprehensive, you'll be in the shiznit. Fact. Nn sweetie. -D

RCK and a P Plater. Need you say more. Bloody tool. Last thing we need is skylines associated with the f**kwits at RCK -D
-
that all depends, was he wearing the batgirl outfit? -D
-
If yours isnt working, open the case up and check the soldering. 99% of those units only need a resolder for them to come good. I did mine last year and its as good as new -D
-
nobody is arguing the lack of insurance on cheap cars. I didnt bother with my VN for that exact same reason. skylines however are a different story -D
-
Do it. arseholes like that deserve to be reported. They give the rest of us a bad name too. -D
-
If he'd have caused the accident then yes. Since hes >lucky< relatively speaking, the other bloke was in the wrong and has to pay for the damages. However as you pointed out, it can take years to resolve compo claims if you dont have your own insurance company. He might not get paid out for another year. -D

rofl cry me a river.. this is a forum, i thought i spelled it out easy enough for plebs like you to understand - tho you could do well to take your own advice about STFU, cause you've added nothin to this discussion so far. Sure the guy hasnt had a whinge about not having insurance, mainly I suspect because the onus is on the other guy to pay since he was at fault. If it was his fault tho, and he wasn't insured he'd be liable for a lot of cash. EOA. -D +1 for Vu

Lol i loved that movie.... the dwarf just keep dissing him the entire movie... Marcus: You are by far the dumbest, most pathetic piece of maggot eatin' shit that has every slid from a human being's hairy ass. You're an emotional f**king cripple. Your soul is dog shit. Every single f**king thing about you is ugly. Classic -D

Yes, under the following sections they may choose to charge you with ; 44B(3) Misuse of motor vehicle 4 46(1) Driving recklessly or at speed or in manner dangerous to public 6 full list is here ; http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/sa/cons...96281/sch7.html Yes again, but it won't make any difference in court, he's still gonna lose the licence based upon the first two - and they would always take the word of a policeman than a P plater... -D

Antimatter is building them for me from a set of blown stock turbos that I purchased. Costing around the $1700 mark with new 14psi actuators -D
-
My 2c is there whether its convenient or not. Thankyou for your input. -D

Sorry Dave, you're dead wrong on this If you have a car thats worth more than $20k. as most GTR's are, and you are aware of the fact that a) GTR's are a favourite for car thieves and b) its an import and costs a LOT of money to get fixed. If you seriously drive an imported street legal racecar, and think that its going to be cheap to fix out of your own pocket, then you're deluded. And if you can afford a 32 GTR and not afford the insurance, then in actual fact, you cannot afford an R32 GTR. Period. It might seem harsh, but stupid is as stupid does. Im not saying you deserved to crash or injure yourself, but you're playing with fire anytime you take ANY car out on the road without insurance, double that if its an import and double that again if its a niche car that thieves and hoons like to drive. Its like having a $45k car and driving it on the road with bald tyres. We all know how that turns out. And while this is a bastard of a thing to say, if you gamble and lose, its your own damn fault. Dont come crying to me when the house wins. I have absolutely no sympathy for gamblers. -D

im thinking a tent campsite would be the most fun... where are u pitching the tent luke? I can bring a tent.... would be wild if we could get a collapsible card table, some chairs, a gas powered lantern and a portable gas bbq... make a real nite of it hehe also, would be awesome if we could get an R35 GTR and an original PCG110 skyline, and have the entire lineup - 1972 to 2009 -D
-
Dude How the frig can u drive a skyline and NOT have insurance? Do u have 'kick me in the balls' tattooed on ur forehead... sheesh -D
-
hehe not sure which wing he means. i quite like the stock 34 gtr wing, cant really say Ive been too impressed with the others -D
-
fair enough. consideirng the 25det engine + loom isnt that pricey, the det does make sense considering the cost/hassle to fit the turbo onto the NA -D
