  4. MMMM I want. I used to love the atmosphere of the f1's, the v8's never really did it for me... would love to see the old adelaide track resurfaced and used > but of course if media mike gets a race here in adelaide, he has to worry about balancing his 'tough on hoon' hot air vs the 'sa is great and f1 is great and im great cos im the premier' etc.. -D
  5. the type R and the type BL are both pretty good looking imho -D

Would be awesome to have a spare one to chuck linux on and see what I can do with it > -D

  16. very well said on both points for david and andrew. my gtr has been a 'rebuild in progress' aka pretty much when something looks like its getting worn and needs replacing, I'll do the entire surrounding stuff just for the convenience and peace of mind (eg when my radiator needed a clean, I bought an upgraded radiator (isc 52mm), new rad hose, fitted the n1 water pump i'd bought off pete, changed the timing belt, pulleys and seals and topped it all up with nismo coolant) its fun if you like to modify and you like to know every little detail about your car (like I do) but it can be expensive - generally tho its a lot cheaper to get in before something breaks and causes even more damage - ceramic turbos being a case too, i still have ceramics but antimatter is going to rebuild a spare set with n1 steel turbines and new bearings, so not only will I have peace of mind about the turbos once theyre fitted, I'll also be able to dial in more boost.... win win scenario really) And then its the suspension, hicas fix, interior retrim, dump pipes and cat, sump and head baffle/journal plates, etc etc etc gotta love gtr's -D
  17. its a new zealander thing too -D

  22. men dont dress in drag and wear feather boas too- er whoops ;D my bad bro ;D haha that was funny tho -D EDIT - nothing about opinions, everyone has them and all are welcome, but you could deal with it better by pmming ur differences away. sausa mod and sausa elected officials should strive to maintain cordial relations
  23. you got that right man. while i'm always gonna be partial to the 32 gtr, a well maintained r34 gtr will be affordable in 2 years time, and as sled can affirm, they are beasts 32's are keeping their value tho i must say, and a well maintained 32 gtr will still be worth $25k in 2 years time imho - tho you'll see some thrashed ones for $10-15k too -D
  24. Sorry luke but you're wrong on this account. I haven't seen ruby vilify/insult anyone in the same way as rhys. If you have an issue with ruby then I suggest you talk to sled and andrew and ruby, address this stuff like men, have a group hug and move along. calling someone a 'dickhead' or 'idiot' is different to disagreeing in a civil man. -D
  25. if its not a GTR its not a GTR. Yeah theyre all expensive, but people keep them because they do actually live up to the hype. Just get a 34 or 33 gtr, fix whatever needs fixing and enjoy relatively hassle free ownership. a 32 gtr will cost less to buy but cost you more in the long run due to its age and inherent oil problems/ceramic turbos/wear and tear. If you can afford it, 34 gtr all the way, otherwise you can get well maintained 33 gtrs for 26-30k and in a couple of years time the 34 gtrs will be cheaper still but will be showing their age a bit more - consider that when you come to being in a position to buy one -D
