  4. Theres 3 that ive seen... ones the autech can that sits on top of the rb26 at the rear.. The other is one that sits in front of the battery - Blue32 had one of these And theres another one which is an oil/air separator (nismo, non vented) that hides underneath the ABS unit... Maybe andrew can take some pics of his current setup as from the sounds of it, its pretty bulletproof -D

  12. its almost like she fell asleep while working a printing press for womans day and ended up getting sucked into the machine and printed with the gossip section, the agony aunt column and some pictures of angelina jolie... -D
  13. if it booted it wouldnt be MBR. MBR either works or doesn't. Corrupt file tables will cause sporadic boot failure as data is written in places where it shouldnt be, or data is read from corrupted blocks. -D
  14. +1 to this. Your drive may only have an issue with the partition table. If you run a scandisk on the HDD from another drive you can sometimes recover it. At the least you'll want to find out if there are any reported errors from the drive itself. -D
  15. That trick is limited to only a few models. Basically Seagate and a couple others started using a cheaper substrate for the IC's. Only problem is, once the substrate warmed up to 60'c, it became conductive causing a huge short circuit inside the HDD controller. Putting it in the freezer would cool the chip long enough to transfer any data off and onto a new drive. -D
  16. I wouldn't. It'd be like rooting the mona lisa. And not in a good way. -D
  17. U aint touring spec till u got a fridge in your car. Snap to it boyo, I expect cold beers next cruise. -D
  18. most south australians are brain dead to the concept of dual lane roundabouts the britannia roundabout on kensington road near where I work, is a source of constant hilarity. If I could put a videocamera and make it my live wallpaper, i dont think i'd get any work done. that, and my ribs would be sore from gut laughing -D
  19. Word to mutha..... its a boganfest atm.... the group A's were much more interesting to watch.... too many rules in motorsport these days. I just wish it didn't come down to R&D budgets.... I reckon some of the early grand prix's in the 30's would be more interesting to watch than todays F1.. -D

  25. Yeah. While its a pain to constantly fork out money to repair stuff, I suppose its to be expected considering my GTR is nearly 20 years old. But... every little thing I do to it to improve it, keeps me occupied and satisfied.... upgrades are fun stuff, I just wish I had a bottomless wallet... -D
