Getting pulled over is part of life. I got pulled over in my mums sigma, a corolla seca, my old VN commodore, my old r31, and my current... thats not the issue per se, its more the defect issue that is irksome. after all, every time ive been pulled over, ive been let away after licence, rego checks and a quick bretho... i have absolutely no problem with this its just the somewhat arbitrary rules, lack of definition, and most insultingly, a lack of conformity to nationwide standards and similar legislation in other states. the cynic in me would say that people like rann would use the fact we are strict as something of a bragging point... the realist part is reminded by the sayings of one of my friends fathers, an ex-canadian military lifer... he's lived in more places that he cares to name, has 40 years of active service under his belt, made master warrant officer etc.... he said to me that he has never ever been to a country to have so many petty rules, and that we are the most overgoverned people he's met. Whether this is true or not I cant say, since I've never been overseas, but it gets me thinking. I've met kids who want to become politicians when they grow up. What the f**k? When did becoming a politician start being something to strive for? /end rant -D

I take it you didnt have any lights on the dashboard going to indicate an error with any of the systems? I only get a beep when i have my lights on and the door is open and the ignition is off. never had a speed chime so i cant say if this is what you're referring to... -D

Got car back. Loads of stuff done today.... New Globe, oil and fuel filters, air filter cleaned, NGK platinum plugs fitted, new diff oil, new brake fluid, new steering fluid, new hicas fluid, new engine oil. 3 leaking injector seals replaced, injectors sonicly cleaned, tyres rotated, rocker cover retensioned came out to just over $700 BUT I have to now replace front rotors, replace front brakes, replace LH Rear crossmember bush, remove radiator and get it completely flushed out, leaking injector replaced, and 2nd hand r33 gtr gearbox fitted. Probably gonna cost me over $1500 including parts but I don't skip so I'm gonna grab new RDA slotted front rotor and get some bendix ultimates to replace my current ones cause I'm pretty happy with them.... then (if I get my contract renewed) get some 2860-7's, nismo FPR, tomei poncam-b, hks cam gears and a radiator shroud purchased and fitted at the same time I get my n1 water pump installed Fun. but not for my wallet. -D

That was Clayton. He lived a few doors down from us (where his parents still live). They put the plastic barriers in Myer itself directly due to that. They don't know if he was messing around, but he was sitting on the railing and the weight pulled him over and he fell from the top floor... managed to stay alive for 24 hours. Sadly his sister suicided in July last year. I suspect partly because she never really dealt with his death, tho none of us will ever know for sure... -D

I had nowt. Dropped car off at mechanics for major service and only just got to the office. Hrm. I could murder a steak n mushy villies. -D

Perrimans in North Adelaide does a bunch of hardcore mini pies, only problem is theyre very expensive.... (Vilis do make mini pies with diff flavours - my mums a cook and sometimes buys them for parties on a pallet - and theyre as good as the full sized ones heh) -D

Yeah Villies far better, tho Mrs macs don't make bad pies either. Not as good as villies. Dulwich bakery makes some of the best pies, as does burra bakery (waters). Worth the 3 hour drive too imho -D

I believe Chicken pies are better than Beef pies. /discuss -D

what software do u have and what connector? I got the OBD 1 cable from PLMS and a couple of engine softwares but I've not found any HICAS software which works ;( (i need.) im >this< close to hacking the bloody unit hexadecimal at a time :| -D
