Lawl. Fighters only fight other males. Theyre actually quite docile and good with other fish. Depends on what size tank, but you can have Kuhli loaches, suckerfish cats, bronze/bristlenose cats, platies, guppies, swordfish, halfbeaks, silver tailed sharks, bumblebees etc Stay away from red tailed black sharks and angelfish. Most fish do get along well, and if they don't sometimes its just a case of boredom, not enough real estate/territory/overcrowding, or its a case of a fish being bullied so it bullies other fish to feel hardcore. -D

Acryllic fishtanks SUCK.... distortion around sides = fail. Those cofee tables are well build but are rather wanky, fish tanks should be at eye level or above to make it easy to watch I got 4 5 foot+ fishtanks here not being used in addition to the 12 of so that are being used.... if you need a tank I'll ask my brother as he's been working in the pet industry for a decade now and can source a lot of stuff at good prices. Tis a shame Im broke and have no place to put the tank, otherwise I'd have a bunch of discus in there -D

I have a brand new N1 water pump sitting here. Dont know if I'm going to install it after all, as I've heard that it doesn't do a very good job on daily driving (aka when you're stopped at the traffic lights).... anyone know more about the cavitation with N1 water pumps? My understanding is that high revs for a standard water pump = cavitation and low revs on an N1 water pump = cavitation... Am I wrong? ;\ -D

Its all working nicely now All I gotta do now is bust open the casing to the transmitter for the automatic rollerdoor and hook it up to the other button ;D Now for the hard part - Does anyone know how I can make it so that I have a red led on my panel when hi boost is selected? I figure the most straight forward way would be to break open the profec's casing and solder a socket to the hi boost LED and then just run a second wire to an LED i can mount next to my boost gauge... Or does anyone have any fancy tricks that I can use to get around breaking open the box? Cheers -D

For all their looks, they were a bit of a lemon. Car was so heavy they had to use aluminium sheeting for the external plates and even then it came close to 2 tonne... -D

Smart thing to do in any case is to avoid confrontation - Run away if you have to. If you're cornered then you don't have much choice. Yes I was glad I had the katana there to defend myself but even still, 4:1 odds are not good. They were stupid and young and I think they weren't expecting to provoke the hornets nest, and so retreated at the first sign of trouble. More experienced crims would possibly have done worse, I got out of it without being shot..some others aren't so lucky.. As far as police response was concerned, they arrived literally in 3 minutes (and I didn't call them).. Outstanding IMHO. -D

And yes, VOC legislation has a maximum payout of $50k for total and permanent disability. It helped me with lost wages and medical bills as Dan indicated. VOC is levied from every criminal fine out there (not all misdemeanours), and not just cars that get impounded. And like Dan said, you'd have to be doing something hugely stupid to get your car impounded, which to me means that you deserve having the car taken away. -D
