  7. Yeah that'll teach me from replying when I've just woken up... in other news... Tumbleweed have reformed. And Helmet are coming back to Adelaide. Time to assault my eardrums a bit. Anyone going? Both gigs are at fowlers -D
  8. Ahah! There ya go ya learn something every day -D
  9. All the R32 Gtrs were ran in RWD mode that day, so I'm >guessing< rw -D
  10. nope. it reported me having 680nm torque @ 250kw on 16psi last time i was there. i was told i should realistically expect 400 odd which was confirmed on another dyno as being 420nm at the rears -D
  11. lol. to excuse heslos grammar, his message is right. if u own a 32 gtr engine ur running a grenade. thankfully i dont run so fast to blow my grenade. but eh, a full forged rebuild should be on any rb26's owners TO DO list if he/she/it has any damn sense. of course we cant all afford to do it asap, but at least start planning for a longnose crank/collar and an oilpump and forged pistons at the very least -D
  12. assuming thats flywheel torque, thats still pretty decent (550-600nm at the wheels?). nice power -D
  13. All depends how in depth they go - $500 is a very good price for that to be installed, considering a pump is $200 odd and the belt is $100 odd. $200 for labour for that sorta job? bargain. But i bet they didnt purge the oil, replace the oil, replace the oil filter, dump the coolant, flush the radiator, refill the radiator, dump the gearbox oil, refil with gearbox oil, dump attessa fluid, bleed the system, refil it, check CV joints, bushes, check brake pads, dump, flush and replace brake fluids with decent dot4 etc Minor services are cheap enough but with a major you generally get what you pay for if they check everything thoroughly. I can't speak for many workshops but I know boostworx always give conservative quotes, and they are very thorough. I've been totally happy with their work lately and will be going back in a cpl weeks for my attessa system to get fixed properly -D
  14. Love the seats man. Need to get mine redone soon too -D
  15. yeah thats when I did mine. CBC can get u gates kits for $99 or so... Joeleo87 who is/was a member here works there and took care of me I also replaced all my heater core/coolant hoses with JJR silicon hoses when the head was off earlier in the year - am running a nismo 1.3kpa cap and an n1 pump so I want them to be able to deal with the extra pressure. so far they have not let me down, I have no leaks whatsoever Will get some black ones eventually tho. I don't like the blue hoses in my engine bay. -D
  16. depends if theyre a reputable brand or not.. ive had my gates racing rad hoses on for 3 years without any hassles. -D
  17. Or buy an LTO tape backup like I did for the real important shit -D
  18. if by stockies, i have two lots of street legal coil overs for sal dont ask me for a loan. sale only. a) bilstein with eibach springs $500 b) tein HR's $500 prices for 4 corners, for r32 gtr. not negotiable. coilovers are fixed height and damper - legal for SA -D
  19. hrm my mates at work were talking about that today.... we all said must be some good drug money still in that suburb -D
  20. striping is fine for operating system data, esp when you have the MBTF of a modern SSD Eg Revodrives are internally raid 0 to get their 540MB per second reads -D
  21. Ahh my bad -D
  22. I think its more the shithouse mentality of SA based fans - Rucci being the crow lover he is decided to say that port fans never rock up when they're sucking, but the exact same can be said for the crows supporters. And sled ur spot on about the licence. Why it was adopted in that model in the first place is anyones guess (aside from money for the sanfl being the obvious reason) -D
