  1. 7.5w40 or 10w40 is what most people use. 80psi is normal on my aftermarket gauge for idle when the car has just been cranked. once the oil has warmed up it sits on 30 psi. If I drive the car after its just been started, pressure goes past 80, but never 100psi (which is the max of my gauge). Most times it sits on 40/50 psi while driving after engine is hot, with an idle of 25-30psi. If you get below 20psi, be concerned. -D

  9. honestly, it depends on the equipment provided, the availability of the software for that particular hardware, at least a couple of hours to run the calibration and do the actual tune.... my initial tune cost something like $700-800, i honestly cant remember. it was done when i replaced faulty o2 sensors.... has been an absolute JOY to drive... hasnt got the KW numbers to impress dyno whores, but i really love this particular tune. it'll be better in 6 months when i get new cams and turbos, but i'm very happy with the tune. it gives me a perfect balance between performance and reliability... with the emphasis on reliability (as directed by yrs truly).... I cannot recommend those guys enuff. They have leet skillz. -D
  10. u has which model of car nowadays? 33 ja ? Gts or Gtr ? Vspec or non? splash guard, i assume thats the piece of plastic before the wheels.. thats a pain ;P best just look for someone wrecking a whole car and steal their splash guards heheh stupid idea number #20577121 ; would it be worth SAU/an affiliated car club ever purchasing wrecks and pillaging the parts for those who need? I dont have time to do it myself. Maybe someone out there who drinks a shitload of coffee and snorts a hell of a lot of wizzfizz can do it? -D
  11. Mike Dale from Road & Track can do any remap to any nissan ECU as well as a safe and reliable tune (or if you specify it, a dangerous hardcore performance tune). give them a call. info is in my sig. +1 from a happy customer...I'll be getting a stock 32gtr ecu modded once I get the turbos and supporting mods... and best thing yet, I'll still be able to do data logging/live telemetry/consult diagnostics/ecu map fine tuning with a nice conzult cable/software kit Got the EEE, wired it into the glovebox... just need the conzult kit. +2 for solid state hdds and their tolerance to vibration and gforces -D

  15. i've always thought the momos looked like arcade wheels the nardi wheels reminded me of classic italian roadsters... part of the appeal to me really, considering I like the 32 gtr cause its curves are like a late 60's italian car but with 90's tech....just need to get my wheel retrimmed -D
