  1. While I've semi recently replaced my O2 sensors, I cant recall them being too much more than $200. Get the price u can, but get the non-nissan o2 sensors... i dont have a part number but its on this forum under the part number thread (i think). $180 isnt too bad (bear in mind if they need 10 then thats just 5 people assuming you change both sensors) -D
  2. What about campbelltown golf course? I'd be keen to give it a shot (since I cant tolerate watching it on TV its gotta be at least a bit of fun..) Sunny Day, Blue Skies, A Few Drinks and A Nice Stroll sounds good ® -D
  3. What about the people who have two balls and play with themselves? -D
  4. I think you make a good point; That japanese society in general is a hell of a lot more polite than our own. I dont know the cause/effect relationship that makes a country of so called laid back people (aka us) do stupid stuff like road rage. Alcohol/drug consumption no doubt plays its part, but when a japanese person gets drunk they usually go to karaoke or they abuse their boss (its ok to abuse your boss if you're drunk over there.) Depends on where you are. I know the Ainu in Hokkaido got culturally repressed for a long time and only recently gained official recognition from the Japanese govt. And on the same token you cant say that japanese are culturally docile (just read about the rape of nanjing, or anything about changi)... two very different sides of the coin.. I think you'll find that there are dickheads in any part of the globe. The reasons why we have so many, you'd have to ask a sociologist with multiple Ph.D's for the right answer (and probably need a PhD yourself to understand it). I know the japanese very strict on crime compared to us (esp where drugs and substances are concerned), they possibly have better mental health care, or less of a gap between social classes. Who really knows? -D
  5. Consequences of getting our of your car and starting static against some brain dead incubus who hates your car. Sometimes fighting fire with fire works. Sometimes it does not. -D
  6. +1 bwahahahaha
  7. Well thats a very good point tho I'd argue theyre in reality, 20 years behind technologically speaking. The build quality of aussie cars is OK, probably not as good as some others but then again build quality varies drastically from model to model (even with the same brands and production lines, sometimes a minor design flaw will condemn a car to be a lemon its entire life. Ford Pinto anyone? Aus car manufactureres just haven't got the R&D money to spend. And that shows when you compare a 20 year old GTR with a fresh of the line holden or falcon. And even then they were designed for completely different purposes so its like comparing apples and oranges. I will say tho, for every hater you get in Aus on a Jap or Euro car, theres easily another person who respects and venerates them. The GTR didn't get its rep in Australia by listening to foreign opinions....people just respected them because they can talk the talk and walk the walk. If a bogan wants to get shitty at me while driving a family car like a Commi or Falcon, f**k em. Get mad. Go and buy a torana or an XB falcon and then show me what aussie muscle can do. Thankfully such twits are a minority and most of the time we just get people checking the car out cause its something different. -D
  8. Why take offence? The country has only been colonized for 200 years.... unless you're aboriginal I don't see how that statement applies, or why it even matters what someone says. If you dont like something, you move because you want to, not because someone tells you to... This country is what it is due to the migrants, of all walks of life. If that weren't the case we wouldnt have pizza, pastas, pho, lakhsa, cappuccino, etc.. history as short as 200 years means sweet fa. I'd say the vietnamese off the boat in the 70's have just as much right to chill here as the pommy descendants from the 1800's. Bringing the topic back to the pseudo politically correct argument of what constitutes a wog or a bogan; its got sod all to do with genetics. Being a wog or a bogan is a state of mind, a way of life. Generally one accompanied with a lot of glue sniffing and machoismo posturing... basically its just overcompensation of a sort; they act tough and walk around in gangs because thats the only thing they can identify with, or rationalize their own existance. Sad that their psychological profile is so narrow minded, but there you have it. And as for jap cars being shit? I think it comes down to what was said about bathurst; bathurst didnt start it, it just brought the ignorant attitudes of some petrol heads to the fore. I dont care where any bloody piece of technology comes from, if it works well, I'm gonna bloody well use it. To ignore progress for sentimentality is like covering your eyes with black paint, or sticking your head in the dirt like an ostrich and pretending it'll go away. Let the haters get mad. Ignore them, provoke them, I dont care; it all depends on your own prerogative. Just be damn sure you're ready to deal with the consequences. -D
  9. *sings Rodney Rude* "I may not be a wog but I look like one... I may not be a wog but me mates are wogs..." -D
  10. Yeh I love curried geraniums -D
  11. I appreciate that steve but this week is really bad. We've had a close friend suicide and I honestly don't know what my movements are going to be this week... ill msg you and work out a time later -D
  12. I live within walking distance to tillbrooks. Mullers/Hampstead area. -D
  13. Anywhere along the esplanade near largs pier and semaphore... nice area and theres a stretch with a big carpark -D
  14. Hrm when I drove a commodore I used to get the bogan quotient but I haven't had any problems in my GTR. Being a big skinhead kinda helps there -D
  15. heh
  16. Hrm is that campbelltown golf course? -D
  17. Hehe nice, hotham summit chairlift, I know it well. I'm gonna be renting a place on dinner plain next year Should be good -D
  18. So would u recommend me get cams if I'm getting camgears, turbos, and injectors (and their support mods, fuel pump, water pump, afm, gaskets)... and if so, what type? I know nada about engine physics -D
  19. haha takin' daddys keys n takin' the car for a spin, the beach boys would be proud "Cause she'll have fun fun fun till her daddy takes the T-bird awayyyy...."
  20. Yeah my old man rolled the XF falcon off mount hotham once after hitting a patch of black ice. car kept going forward, we ran out of road and we all went over the edge (rolled 3 times heh). Yeah black ice isnt nice and even snow chains dont help u with that stuff. constant 4wd helps but even 4wd's have issues with it. nice if you have a frozen lake, but when you got a single lane, you run out of room really quickly -D
  21. Yeah, not many people could justify the $107,000 ;P -D
  22. First I've heard about it. IMHO all GTR's were built in factory with 2 turbos, regardless of delivery location. If it has not got twin turbos, its not a GTR *shrug* The GTR that Gibson motorsport used came from the first batch locally delivered (Aka the batch of 100). After those 100 came in, they didn't deliver any more cause they only sold 67 domestically. -D
  23. I just dont see the point... I can give myself a scratch n sniff sticker later tonite.... -D
  24. Yeah but where do ya stop? The DR30's are pretty damn cool too hehe. I think the main poll was intended for the 90s generation of skylines but having said that, the r31's were a great test bed for half of that technology (Hicas, rb engines, irs, pwr steering, balance etc) Japanese r31's have a few more build perks compared to the aus version (the engine and suspension being two major points) but even the aussie r31s are damn good. Would rather drive an r31 na than a vl turbo, thats for sure -D
  25. lol what a dick, yeah i did mean underrated, now edited, thx for pointing that out lol -D
