  1. Yep just got back from watching it at the drive in. Fkn unreal. Ledger was awesome but the whole movie was pretty good, it unravelled quite nicely. Bring on Batman 3 -D

  8. Yeah the water is going into the bongs of the adelaide faithful, and they themselves are helping to rid the state of this insidious 'grass' you mention *insert bloodshot eyes* -D
  9. That pisses me off. If you find out any details I'll be down with a 6 pack of grenades and a C4, (metaphorically speaking). Seriously tho, f**king arseholes. May they all spontaneously combust. -D
  10. I think it also has to do with disposition. I know I drive my GTR vastly different to the way my dad drives it (when I let him hah). I tend to accelerate quickly, 4500 rpm shifts, which isnt pushing anything but also isnt slow compared to your average ride. And yeah, my zorst does make some noise... I hope that alone doesnt make me a hoon. On the other side, I sometimes do floor it while accelerating (all within speed limits of course) and can get 4 wheel drifts going. I'm nearly 30 and I take the surroundings into account cause I really dont wanna do time for killing someone thru idiot driving... generally tho since theres nobody around, nobody sees it... God bless country backroads While in the city I always stick to speed limits, even if I do accelerate and change faster than most. But I take such liberties, because I can. And I'd make no apologies for this because theres a hell of a lot of other people who drag me off (and obviously win) when I'm driving as per the norm. The image of the hoon is a young adult male, wearing baggy pants, cranking hiphop, having a baseball cap (probably backwards) and a bomber/nfl jacket, whilst wearing rebooks or some other sort of oversized sneaker. If you got a shaved head and wear sunglasses, or wear any jewelry, or have immaculate paint, or have big rims, or have shiny lights, then you too are part of the stereotype So far the man on the street (that I've spoken to) are either indifferent, neutral (with grudging respect) or fanboys... havent had any negative responses but I put that down to the fact I have my stereo cranked and the exhaust making a low rev BRRR noise, and the fact I couldnt give a rats ass about anyone elses opinion Triple WIN -D
  11. MMM I have to say the last few models of Lamborghini Countach.... that car alone sparked my interest in cars in general, and I wanted one so bad I even considered getting a Fiero kit and doing the entire thing myself (Which is a big call cause I'm mechanically dyslexic) From the outside, its still one of the sexiest cars I've ever seen. I STILL want one, in spite of all the drawbacks of owning one (and that particular list is long).... the interior is a huge disappointment, buf if you have a lamborghini then you generally have enough money to drop $40k on a custom interior ;P Time hasnt been kind to the ol' countach but for simple raw sex appeal, its at the top. Failing the Countach, the AC Shelby Cobra was always nice
  12. Grats dude!
  13. its a >very< long shot that it is to do with your current proble (lack of boost at certain RPM). I would recommend it get checked for the simple fact that any sort of air intake, be it turbo or otherwise, needs a filter to stop particulate matter screwing up the internal mechanics of the engine. Imagine getting a single grain of sand underneath your eye for a day. I'm sure it'd cause some wear/irritation issues before too long. Same goes with engines. Your current problem for lack of boose could be a number of things, but I'd be suspecing an individually anomalous map at that particular rev range. For some single problem at a specific rev range, there would have to be a particular corresponding map that calculates the mix. Having said that, you say its around 4000rpm? This is just over the 3500rpm boost kick in of most std ecu maps....could perhaps be worth checking the vacuum/control pipes to EBC or ECU stock actuators.. the aftermarket coilpacks are a variable but if you're not having serious problems, they'd be the last thing i'd look at. ** bear in mind im not a mechanic ** I get a drop in power a couple of minute after driving, but thats normal...after the engine warms up it switches to the ecu's map instead of relying on some other sensor/valve (i cant remember what its called cause im tired as hell, can some smart bugger please tell me what its called... AAC valve perhaps? Dunno) Anyhow, it sounds like a pain in the arse to diagnose for a layman. I'd gladly palm it off to an expert and pay them for it. Lifes to short to chase leaky hose. -D
  14. if the dent has pierced the core of the intercooler, then most definately. and it'd be letting unfiltered air into your engine. not good. thats a worst case scenario but if i were you i wouldnt screw around, go to yr fave mechanic or mark at exhaust tech to check it out -D
  15. ROFL haha i love that.... esp the people filming it laughing at the chaos. GOLD! -D
  16. excels r fooly sik uleh -D
  17. True. True.... its been scientifically proven that farts have a lower area of effect outdoors which explains his grimace and your look of absolute calm. ;D -D
  18. Ahaha wild, instant classic
  19. Heheh yeah they look wild but, um, I hope ya'll forgive me for this. I dunno who the dude is behind Kellie but thats a classic lolcat moment..
  20. SCHNITZEL! GET IN MAH BELLEH! -D
  21. those are both reasonably generic components. im sure you can get them from repco or one of the mechanics resellers. o2 sensors are never cheap, and you want to make sure u get a new one, 2nd hand could be a waste of time (and petrol). The clutch on the fan is possibly replacable itself (its just a little metal spigot and possibly some sleeved coil) so I reckon you could get one of those no sweat. Had my o2 sensor replaced at road n track last year, wasnt too expensive from memory tho i dont know how much it cost specifically -D
  22. Hrm couple of caveats to consider having looked at the wiki entry. Says that the time is what the manufacturer claims (aka unverified) as opposed to the GTR. Also, it says the lap position started in an unusual spot, and the times recorded havent got a verified count... If the Vspec GTR can shed a whopping 250kg and get more horsies, then the ZR1 is gonna get pwnt (imho) -D
  23. Then PK's wallet is gonna be hurtin'. I'll make sure of it. Even if I have to pretend Im kate moss for a day and eat nothing -D
  24. Well aaah would walk 500 miles, and ahh would walk 500 more, jes tee be the man who walked 10,000 miles to eat a schnitty or 4.. -D
  25. depending on where you are, i'd also recommend Road & Track in Enfield. Details are in my sig
