  7. aha but which branch? If you're in the city I can pull my ass away from work for an hour of fried doughy goodness... -D
  8. Two words. Hell. Yes. I know its $400 but its worth it if I can get tips. Just give me enuff notice, cause the next month I'm more broke than an ethiopian flea herder due to the gearbox replacement... -D (Can we get Trophy Wenches?)
  9. lol. you're lead wrong imho. 33 gtr gearbox is an upgraded 32 gtr gbox, meaning it has the same xfer case but stronger input shaftand if its an s3 33 gtr box it'll have tougher synchros. the 25 box is tough but lacks an xfer case (and possibly other stuff, unless theres a rb25 4wd variant? aside from stagea, and even then I doubt they'd be the same as the GTS-4 has different ratios to the GTR so I see no reason why other boxes would be stronger...)... Caveat - I know sfa about boxes. I could be wrong -D
  10. Just a couple..
  11. Which light switch? Its easy enough to remove the dash cluster surround if thats what you're after... pm me -D

  13. I saw ya there but at the time I was talking to a dude from Unley Nissan about his GTR and then you were deep in convo. Then the cruise started heh. I think dans hit the nail on the head, bbq and the footy might be the go, I can't play football for shite but I can apply flame to meat with the skill of a samurai. -D
  14. Mobil has great fuel too. I mainly use their high octane 98% stuff. -D
  15. Oh yeah I'll still go to the meets and that. I just think people need to loosen up and lrn2party... I was the bloke in the black coat incidentally, and while I spoke to some cool people I'm more talking about people hanging around in little grps. And of course the ones lacking in confidence *shrug* I'm not going to eat your brains or anything... -D
  16. I'm pretty friggen visible. I got the white 32 gtr with the plates 'dohmar' im usually cranking some really obnoxious music. I talk shit. usual stuff. Hollla next time for sure -D EDIT - and yeah its not like Im trying to talk to every mf there but crikey, u sometimes go up to a mob and say something and they just blink like uve tried to explain quantum theory or some shiznit. -D
  17. Heyas I've been to more than a few meets. and I have to ask. Why are people so unkind? No, really. I walk around the meets with a grin on my grille, introduce myself and start talking about shite. How come so many of u guys are hands-in-pocket type lookin-at-tarmac type non mingling elitist mf's ? Seriously. It shits me. I dont go to these meets to say howdy to people and get the same sorta response that I might get if I try to teach my labrador a card trick. Sure shes looking at me but what the frig, is there any activity in the brain? Crikey. All I'm asking guys, is that u take the cork out of your arse and say hello to people u dont know. Mingle a bit. Lifes to short. K. Thx. Bai. Laik. Dohmar.
  18. Was a good turnout at the meet point. Great to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones. I had to go back to work so I couldnt make the cruise, but I love the meet point, and even if I can't make a cruise I'll always try to at least get to the meet point -D ***EDIT - I'd also like to give kudos to Kellie for organising this, printing the routes as well as putting the peons in their place. I like the meet spot. its good for people who work 9-5, and I think the police presence was handled very well. I think it's ideal for the po-po to stay informed. Means we get less tossers and conquently less defect checks. At least I hope so. As long as we dont have dipshits spoiling it for us (and Kellie in particular) then we'll have ourselves a really nice traditional run every fri nite that people can be bothered. ROCK ON!
  19. Hell yeah, Hi 5 girl Shannons ftw. Best thing I ever did. The killer? The fact they let me choose my own repair workshop rather than the lower of 2 quotes. Screw that for a joke. And I told em bout my speeding fines. And my mods. And they were >still< cheaper than justcar. Shannons be teh r0x0r -D
  20. I accuse you of being French.
  21. Well I've been sittin' drinkin' thinkin' and listening to music in between having jams on my guitar. Now when it comes to music, cause I'm such an anal bastard, theres not much that impresses me anymore. But, I am always impressed by good drummers and virtuoso guitarists Those who know who Steve Vai is will just nod sagely. The rest of you best check this video out. This is him performing one of his songs with a symphony orchestra. Dont moan. Just STFU and watch it already. There are good guitarists of a professional level, and then there are freaks of nature. Eddie Van Halen is one of them, as is Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen and many many others. This Vai guy is a total virtuoso. He was taught by Joe Satriani (who is just as good, and incidentally playing at thebby theatre next month, going to see him fo' sho'). The song here is farking beautiful. Oh and as for Satriani, pretty much sums up his repertoire. Now for the Drummers They never cease to amaze me. Cause I never could get my feet to do what's needed. The Arms be all I got. So I trip spinnach when I see freaks of nature like Travis Barker. I wasnt a blink182 fan but he was their drummer. First found out about him due to his collaborations with Paul Wall whos a great MC from Houston Texas. here are some barker clips.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnzXTGn3i58 - Some studio session. Insane. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOfsr9D-KXU - Snare drum solo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVoX6nzzutc - Grillz with Paul Wall and heres another bloke called Joey Jordison. I'm not much of a slipknot fan, but theres no deny this guys is freakishly good: And I seriouly LOVE the way the dude can segue from one timing to the other. Gonna see if I can find some Jimmy Chamberlin demos. Hes the drummer from Smashing Pumpkins. Has a jazz influence like Gene Krupa, and is damn good. Oh yeah, Danny Carey from tool is wild too. Theyre notorious for switching to abnormal tempos mid song. Incidentally he played drums for "Green Jello" who did that song in the early 90's "3 little cops" (aka 'little pig little pig let-me-in. NOT BY THE HAIR OF MY CHINNY CHIN CHIN!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRaxQeirgWk <-- This is very informative regarding timing. For non music students, mismatched timing is like performing a root canal on yourself without an asprin. But thats why Tool are so goddamn awesome.Rock on. Do you know of any more musical freaks of nature? I might just have to introduce some of u guys to Q-bert or Aphex Twin > -D
  22. Dear Dad Please dont mind me. Im just going to go to your computer tomorrow and swap around all the keys. I'm going to swap the Q with the X, the B with the S, and the Escape key with backspace. Enjoy the ride. I'm also going to buy a second subwoofer. And an amp. And I'm going to mount it facing the wall, in the naive belief that the low frequencies will 'bounce off it' instead of penetrating at a 2 foot depth. I'm going to play loads of Jamaican dancehall. I really hope you like the 2/4 signature. Lastly, as to the religious radio station. Mines bigger than yours, pops! Love, your son Dohmar
  23. TIMMAH!
  24. And thats why I'm wishing it against some asshole who take a giant shit against a guys life. And not wishing it against the pope. So sorry for your friend, but its totally irrelevant. -D
  25. Heya Folks Recently my front underspoiler came off from the front. Thats the one which sits underneath the stock GTR bar but just above the spoiler lip (I removed the lip cause the roads around here are craptastic). Its made of black plastic and it came off when I was reversing out of a carpark and it had gotten caught on some cement and ended up ripping a couple of bolt sections. My mechanic can repair it, but I'm curious if there are any other aftermarket under body spoilers for both the front and the rear. I've seen some veilside cars that have the kit extending underneath the rear below the hicas and rear diff. I'd like to know if I can get any underbody spoilers for the entire car with stock kit (because I really hate that veilside stuff, not a fan of rice). I have a custom exhaust from the cat back so I'm guessing some might not fit. The other alternative is if I find someone who custom makes them to fit (which I would probably prefer). Have any of u guys/gals out there ever done any work to the under-body styling? -D
