Spotted another wanker in a 4wd trying to force his fat f**king tank into the lane was turnin from montacute onto main north and since both of the turning lanes were long, this wanker decides to pull into the lanes that go straight across the intersection and stops in front of my car, chucks his indicators on and starts barging in - dude just barely missed my car and caused the car next to me to swerve into the innermost turning lane, just barely missing the traffic in that lane with half of his car in both lanes and people screaming abuse at him guy should have just waited instead of using the typical 'im in a 4wd so everyone can go around me' mentality arseholes -D

worse still if a comb-over is used -D

i have no argument vs that, if i got pinged at a high speed i'd be rooted my main argument pertains to the P1 and P2 applications, of which I thankfully are exempt from -D

just to clarify tyres need to be changed for the sole reason they do not have the ADR values imprinted on the sides if you get pinged for brake pads, I would ask the cockhead in question for a micrometer as nobody, bar a qualified mechanic, is going to know if it needs replacing or not -D

this is true however the transition stage should not be providing a drop in power it happens often, either because of too much fuel or not enough -it has to be precisely tuned to ur turbos that said, if its already as tuned as u can go, camgears and possibly poncams will help mitigate that ;D -D

this is true, i once saw an abo drift around a roundabout in a 2.0lt sigma while half his body was out the car, smoking it up for something like 80 odd rotations it was funny at the time but kids, dont try that at home -D

an upgrade in cc never hurts if ur current ones are out of life however, it will require a retune, as whenever you replace an AFM or injector CC it changes the K constant, which is the coefficient between the fuel pumped into the cylinder and the standard amount of air aspirated (these things are calculated off boost) bigger injectors have no reliability improvements over brand new replacements of the same size however you can run more boost with a bigger injector, and the duty cycle is reduced (which probably means something technical but i cant be stuffed looking it up). if ur not modding the car tho, id say stay with std size, simply so u dont have to pay for a retune. if ur gonna change stuff, get the big uns -D

the truly munted thing is, im effectively running straight pipes - twin cannons at the tips and a y piece feeding a resonator.. and ive never experienced any real harrasment maybe cos i rock the shirt and tie but tbh the car drones really badly and in 4 yrs only ever been pulled over twice and zorst noise was never mentioned -D Edit - re damos post re bovs, some people just run stockers cos they give the best performance. writeoff was talking to me about a bov issue some years ago where the aftermarket bovs wouldnt actually perform properly when compared to the stocker
