Front Page Advertiser : Restriction For Young P-plate Drivers
Dohmar replied to Thomas parker's topic in South Australia
cant dispute anything you've written its one of those things where the people in power are trying to do the right thing but since theyre totally f**king incompetent they fail if i was road minister, first thing i'd do would be enforce the same driver training that happens in finland - train the hell out of them better safe than sorry - and we might just have an aussie winning races as a bonus to a reduced road toll (and by-proxy, reduced insurance claims) -D -

I agree with you there Luke, my dad is a bloke who is nearly 70 and could really do with some defensive moves hell, even a standard exam would catch him out for not checking his blind spot - I still need to do that course myself, then the cams2 - i think everyone who values their life and their ride should do both as a matter of precaution -D -
tangles is selling one with an rb26 already in it, cheap too -D Edit - looks like he beat me to it

Now this is what happens when you can’t count … Half tonne ute … with over a 2 tonne load! This was taken last week on Old Northern Road Albany Creek, QLD, but not sure who by. It has about 2 tonnes of concrete blend and 200kg bags of cement in the back. A very expensive exercise, as a Department of Transport vehicle also arrived at some stage … probably to offload a hefty fine. -D

channel 26 is the defacto 'shit talking' channel you'll hear the word buttplug about 30-40 times per hour along with people giving each other shit - one guy in particular cops it hard cause hes a real noob who apparently 'has 2 sports cars, lives in a mansion, dates a supermodel and is a millionaire' (they tracked him down, hes 40 and lives in a granny flat at his parents) so naturally he gets drilled a fair bit theres also a methhead who injects himself and then goes to town on the CB - its quite amusing -D

Lol thats epic. i cant defend that and wouldnt want to, however there are always some who f**k it up for the rest that said, i do insist upon a couple of mechanics to do certain parts of my requested work but i still leave minor work to their apprentices sometimes - usually the hateful mundane stuff hahah -D -
indeed and a 4 door bears a tiny bit less po-po attention, esp when its without a spoiler -D

if you already own the car, you're exempt -D -
they both look good. only comment id make is regarding redline shockproof gear oil - its made for gearboxes without synchros, when it gets used in a synchromesh gearbox it has a tendency to wear the synchros faster than usual - the redline non-shockproof stuff is pretty decent by all accounts but I only use mineral oil in the gearbox as per nissans recommendation -D

i cant fault that logic, and its something Im aiming for too - whether or not it needs 20 psi or whether it even gets to 300, i dont really care, however from what Ive read and been told by assorted folks, 20psi is nothing too hardcore. esp when you compare the amount of boost some cars have thru them (60psi ford sierras anyone?). if I get a safe, responsive 280-290 i dont really care what the psi is set to. 300kw is well within safe range of a stock rb26. -D

The world is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. The ride goes up and down, around and around, it has thrills and chills, and it's very brightly colored, and it's very loud, and it's fun for a while. Many people have been on the ride a long time, and they begin to wonder, "Hey, is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and say, "Hey, don't worry; don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride." And we...kill those people. "Shut him up! I've got a lot invested in this ride, shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry, look at my big bank account, and my family. This has to be real." It's just a ride. But we always kill the good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok... But it doesn't matter, because it's just a ride. And we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. Just a simple choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace. -Bill Hicks -D

and thats where you're wrong my so called 'thrashing it' was less than 6500 rpm i never push my car hard, ever. i could give a f**k if an gtt or any other car can do better. so evidenced by my speeds in the aforementioned trips. i dont see any part of the postings where i said that R&T guaranteed anything. i work in IT. i know that technology fails. im not going to hold them responsible for mechanical failure, esp when its 20 yr old components. seriously, u guys need to step back and take a deep breath. I know what ive discussed with my mechanic and tuner. You do not. And Im hardly going to waste my time trying to impress you armchair mechanids when I have good advice on tap. fot your information on the black plumes -they were done using the retarded tune, after i had replaced the injectors from 444 to 575. and that was before i had a nistune, so duh, naturally it was running rich because there was no f**king way i could have leaned it out safely. SAFELY -D

aww i was hopin u would machine my cylinders and i could get soem big boobed bitchen to rub u on the head like a buddha statue, for good luck but hey, if ur too busy to let women rub ur head then bugger ya, do what ya want, etc -D edit - http://www.handlebars.com.au/sponsors.asp as far as im concerned, if its good enuff for charlie, its good enuff for me
-
cant reply to u technically to u pete because im am a lowly pc technician who obviously knows f**k all about engines and if ur that shit hot at machining then i want you to machine my fkn engine in 2012. put it this way, im getting the power back at LOWER boost than was required before ultimately i cant say how its going to go either way, however im getting a full rb26gasket kit, removing me intake plenum and manifolds, rocker covers etc getting everything powdercoated black except for manifolds which are geting ceramic coated along with the exhaust housing of the new n1's i get next week i cant see how any damage can be caused for any tune where there is too much fuel. lack of power sure. not like im melting my damn pistons -D EDIT - You're under 35? Yeah and I rooted alyssa milano last week. really.

word man, but geez, ive been reading the rb26 thread on sau for the last 5 yrs man, and i know for a fact that 300kw is not like asking a politician to be honest they generally benchmark 290 for -7's / n1's on stock 444 injectors and afms. unlike many others, ive done the supporting mods before i got the turbos. i got the nistune. i got the injectors. i got the nismo calibrated afms. soon as i get the turbos themselves, i bolt them up and let shaun at boostworx go nuts i have full confidence in road and track and boostworx. ive been using r&t for 6 yrs and theyve never made a single mistake, ever. cant say that about any other workshop ive been to. -D
