for the price? frankly no. buy a new laptop with an ssd already in it, if you want the bang for buck however ssds will speed up ur system, including outdated ide buses -D

the transfer rate will be a sustained rate rather than a variable rate and there will be no seek or write latency you'll notice the difference. put it this way, ATA supports up to 133mhz bandwidth, SATA is 150... SATAII 300... etc diff between sata1 and ide is not much at all - esp since your drive is a 5400rpm its slow as dogs balls... the other benefit is the wd probably runs 5watts when seeking and reading, the ssd will be about 0.1watt peak. You'll save a fair bit of battery with an SSD.. -D

+1 the non turbos ive seen recently have been less (ie under $10k), however those were 33 and 32's... I guess it comes down to how clean the car is, what mods are done etc etc.... mind you I have a friend who is keen on a 34 for his girlfriend, but isnt buying for another 2 months - if you haven't sold it by then, I'm sure he'll be interested in having a look. I agree with steve. When I ordered lukes 1600cc injectors from florida, they arrived within 5 working days and that was non priority airmail from the USA... no way they can blame the posties unless they got the most basic postal option available - and even then maybe not... -D

Hi Folks Here are the pics of the front set - I won't have time to remove the rears until next weekend, however they were all purchased at the same time and are the same condition as the fronts. Will take photos of them once they are out. Images left large for max detail - as you can see I haven't bothered to clean them up at all -D
