  10. Easily. The RB30 block causes the head to be situated very high compared to the stock 26, pm cubes and ask him about how much clearance he actually has (he reckons its not a lot)... cant run a strut brace with a 26/30 unfortunately -D
  11. zenki = early era (89-91) kouki = late era (92-93) -D Edit - fyi they use this zenki/kouki terminology with all jap cars, not just nissans - places like RHD japan use zenki/kouki for their product listings (aka boss kits - like dion said, they have hicas sensors in different places so it makes a difference when you're buying aftermarket gear)
  12. Yeah I knew that ;P have seen it before after all instrument cluster is a bitch of a thing as I bought a carbon backing plate for the gauge cluster only to find the indicator and high beam lights are in different locations, still got that for sale actually if anyone with an s2 is keen ;P Radio surround has a textured/bumpy feel on the s2's, gloss black on the s1's... would be good to maybe put a thread together in one of the forums listing any known changes between the zenki and kouki 32's... -D
  13. Word -D
  14. Gunmetal grey r32 passed me in pooraka this arvo around 5:30 -D
  15. This is correct, my wheel is for a zenki GTS-T/GTR... the steering wheels are the same between the gts-t/gtr except the horn button has a R for a GTR and an S for a GTS Condition of wheel is good. Not great but not crap either. -D PS Dion - I wish I knew that 2 years ago before I spent ages doing research and getting nowhere lol
  16. Putting an rb26/30 in a gtr isnt a bad idea, if you use the car for performance or any kind of motorsport keep the 26 stock tho if you want a streeter that'll hold its value - if I had two gtr's, I'd def put a 26/30 in the 2nd one -D
  17. Weezy has a point (as a purist lol) as Rb30 bottom ends are awesome for the power gain, but the car loses value when you take the original rb26 out of it, which is the only reason I'm going to stick with the 26 bottom end -D
  18. Dayum thats quite cheap... Bargain if you can get it, tho I hate to think what the shipping fees are for something so heavy -D
  19. I always knew u was a man-hoe ;D -D
  20. Depends on how you do it Pure pron! -D
  21. Yeah I got what u meant, but you wont get off a guilty conviction if you a) tell the truth and a jury finds you guilty or b) you plead guilty in the pre-trial hearing Co-operation and honesty only help reduce a sentence, as does remorse/contrition, mental illness, provocation, etc etc If you're interested, head down to your local library and get a book called 'Getting justice wrong' by the NSW DPP Nick Cowdery. Probably one of the most well written books about how the justice system works, namely the interaction between the lawmakers (pollies) enforcers (police, magistrates), public defenders (lawyers, barristers) and the correctional facilities (prison, youth detention)... worth reading imho if you have even a passing interest in law -D
  22. lol. are you the authority on prison now steve? did u drop the soap? of course not, what kind of a question is that? Truth is a mitigating factor in the sentencing procedure, not the prosecution of an offence. During sentencing all extenuating circumstances are weighed up, including pleading guilty at the first opportunity and co-operating with police. -D
  23. yeah cos all the fat playstation playing mofos like me will perish in the first week from a heart attack. gg peat ;P -D
  24. Yeah I thought it was you heh, I was in my mums Corolla cause my R32 was getting an oil and suspension change today... are you still rocking the dior plates? I wouldnt pay much notice to the naysayers, I doubt its anything personal. theres a lot a jackasses assuming shit these days, its not just you -D
  25. and full prisons brings me to another point when the law starts incarcerating more than a slight minority of the population, one must start looking at the law and wondering if the law is conducive to society. There's a trend in the USA where there are a huge majority of prisoners being kept in prison longer than is usual due to the privatisation of prisons and the inherent bribery to judges and juries that go with it. When a society runs out of places to house convicts, it has a responsibility to itself to enquire just how many of these incarcerations are necessary. Naturally as a society grows, so does the need to house criminals, however one must always be aware about the laws, and the trinity of the police-politicians and judiciary, because without these our society would be far far less than what it is today. Whenever one of these three try to increase their power at the expense of the others, it throws the balance of the system out...... I dont know jack about our prison situation. Maybe all of them deserve to be there, and due to our population growth, we simply need to build more. Or maybe we have more people committing crime for whatever reason. To build a structure and pay a bunch of cops to mind it, does not cost millions of dollars. There is no excuse for complacency here. Also I'll refer to your reply to finish my argument - There is no such thing as rehabilitation in a prison. Very few of the criminals sent to prison will respond to such chicken/egg mentality. How are you gonna be rehabilitated in a place where you're in constant fear of your anal virginity, physical and psychological wellbeing, etc etc... I dont know a single person who'd be able to enjoy prison, in spite of grandstanding and shit talking In either case, for once Mark Webber was right This country is becoming a nanny state and I f**king hate it -D
