sucks for the wallet, but you'll be that much happier when its all done to a high standard my wallet sympathises -D

because who wants to be regulated? I'm not going to voluntarily subject myself to another extra special set of rules, just because some bogan/cockheads cant find the time to make a track day or find a skidpan. especially not paying for it. this is supposed to be a free country - we should be protesting and making a noise to get the prejudice removed against enthusiasts rather than caving in and trying to create a secondary version of licencing and rego. I think most of this shit will blow over once rann is gone in any case. If the liberals stick to their guns and allow the motorsport park, then >street racers< wont have any excuse for their behaviour... sapol do not care about clubs. the onus is on the individual, and that is why they target individuals. having another club is going to make no difference -D

lol bet that had u worried for a minute -D
-
I wouldn't pay. While its a nice idea, it would amount to nothing in the long run, there are always reasons for a police officer to pull you over. That said, I've had my GTR for 3 years as a daily driver, and I've only been pulled over twice, and then let on my way 5 minutes later. I'm not worried in the slightest. -D

not at the expense of other peoples loved ones it doesnt an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, and I too would be pissed off if I had a kid who was interrogated without me being present. -D

thats why we have magistrates. if we inadvertently break the law while preventing a crime, it gets heard by a magistrate or judge and they weigh up the word of the law versus the spirit of the law. not long ago the state govt permitted 'any reasonable force' to be used defending ones own self and home, which means home invaders don't have any legal rights if a crime is committed against them while they themselves are in the process of committing a crime. defending yourself, home, friends and family is one thing, vigilanteism is another. -D

saw spy034 on mullers road friday night heading east -D

im pretty sure i know what scumbags are capable of - you dont need to procreate to understand it however if anyone f**ked with my family, i'd be righteously pissed, as you would very well be and as much as im all for violence and revenge and bloodshed, the law sees fit to think otherwise so unless ya wanna be wary in the showers, and not dropping the soap, you gotta abide by the law so lets not be like anthony mundine and say what we would do or what we're gunna do... if you even plan to do that, it doesnt make sense to incriminate yourself on a public forum in either case... so pete, i dont mean to offend you, but since you pissed it off 20 seconds in, you didn't get to see the objective point the mockumentary was trying to make. perhaps watch the body of the media before condemning the poster -D Edit - Steve - theyre not making fun of the issue, theyre making fun of the hysteria surrounding the media. It was a controversial issue in 2001 (read about it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brass_Eye#Pae...ial_.282001.29). Watch the entire episode and you'll see how easily fooled some folks are, and how the stupidity of the mob overrides any semblance of reason. (ie the computer keyboard that releases pheromones)

i guess you missed the point mate - here we all are saying how mad we'd go (indeed how we'd snub the law we pretend to respect) if in fact any ones relatives were at a place where unsavouries might be. i would have thought you'd be the last person to publicly condone vigilianteism. The purpose of the brass eye special is to demonstrate the hubris and stupidity of the mob mentality. Watch it again. -D

its a strange issue. i downgraded to 3.5 and it works fine. Any chance of upgrading to ipboard 3 once the migration is complete (or convert the data and install 3 as part of that migration) - its very frustrating - are you using the basic editor As far as the link is concerned, all that needs to be done is to replace a js file within the heirachy - its basically a re-coded subroutine for the editor to work correctly with 3.6's js implementation - should just be able to drop it in and have it work -D
-
Its actually a bug with IPS 2.3.6 - All users of Firefox 3.6 are going to experience this issue (as you can see, I cannot type text underneath what has been quoted as the cursor is not letting me place it where I want. There is a patch here. http://community.invisionpower.com/topic/3...or-ipboard-236/ Could we please get that patch loaded into the server? Others will have this issue as they upgrade from 3.5 to 3.6..... Many thanks -Dohmar

Aye, skylines are rather expensive but when you get everything working well, the sheer driving pleasure is second to none. Boost in second around a corner and get a big sloppy grin on your mug, then it doesn't hurt the wallet so much. Theres always a few things to do when you've just bought a skyline. I too have done the major service, replaced o2 sensors and coilpacks, among many many other things, however I don't regret a cent. If you can't afford it to be certified, then don't worry about it until if/when you get defected - its not a must do thing. Simply get the lock bar fitted, wheels aligned and you'll be done for around the $200 mark (i think, not sure how much lock bars are - theyre not much tho). -D
