  4. One does not need their licence to be on them, provided it is paid and up to date. Generally you have 7 days to present a licence to a police station if you dont have it on you,.... which is more than fair... Cant see them fining you for this, as there are guidelines on how to deal with licence breaches... wanna tell us what they really got you for? -D
  5. u can buy fake retards for 25% cost if u search on ebay eh -D
  6. While this isnt a skyline, I saw this white tiny car and it looked like an old volkswagon crossed with an old datto/keto cat is in the lefthand lane at the payneham road/port rush road intersection and he GUNS it and the bugger torque drifts over to the righthand lane, corrects and fangs off into the distance im wondering wtf is this and i catch up to him, and hes in a volksy 1200, didnt get to talk to him at the parade intersection but he guns it and i hear a BOV.... no idea what he had under the bonnet but it was overkill to say the least.... damn car would have 90% of gtrs on this board left for dead considering how goddamn fast he took off....freak show... -D
  7. bahahah go krystal forscutt eh -D
  8. Nuff said. Call the authority and explain that to them. Explain to them that if they are uncooperative in reaching a reasonable settlement privately, that you'll invoke legal aid and sue them via the civil court. Tell them that you will elect to have a civil trial in front of a magistrate, and that means they would have to prove the offence - if they have video evidence then it'll show your feet on your own property and exonerate you etc legal tactic 1 : factotum legal tactic 2 : innocent until proven otherwise at least thats where I'd start... its a huge, stupid run around the authorities. it takes time and effort which is why some people say 'stuff it' and just pay the fine, where they SHOULD be contesting the nonsense. -D
  9. lol haha ok daddy -D
  10. Thats pretty good coin. I always wanted to be a male prostitute too but I was told early on that I just didnt have the looks for it. Best of luck tho mate ;D -D
  11. Check this bad boy out If only I had $27k spare... I'd snap this up... http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/travel/news/...d-1225835972051 -D
  12. hows about those figures 108,920 hp at 102 rpm 5,608,312 lb/ft at 102rpm I reckon they should do drag racing with oil tankers. Quickest quarter nautical mile from 0 knots haha. Would be more entertaining than lobster racing. -D
  13. to prove a point chuck one of these in it yo http://people.bath.ac.uk/ccsshb/12cyl/ -D
  14. That explains it all.... thanks for the write up there dude -D
  15. that sucks. i'd be asking the mechanic to fix it for cost price if thats the case -D
  16. hrm dunno. strange thing is, i managed to keep a rating 1 over the last few years, and thats even after crashing my car while DUI... had a $200 premium paid to AAMI back in the day and they kept me at rating 1 in spite of the DUI crash and then writing off my R31 about a year later Go figure. Doesn't quite seem fair to me. -D
  17. thats what has me confused. it might be the same mass but its a compressed mass at reduced volume, hence the rise in temp. Boyles law has a pretty good rundown of this : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boyle%27s_Law for those willing to try n get their heads around it -D Edit - BTW whos going to see AC/DC tonite?
  18. is that due to your age or that you dont have the car in a lockup garage? I remember when I got my first quote from shannons, they insisted it would have to be in a lock up garage.... and my father is going senile and sometimes forgets to lock the mechanism after taking his mercedes out, so I ended up rather paranoid for a while. I figure tho, it being in a garage, with a clublock, immobiliser and alarm, 2 dogs and a katana nearby for good measure, the car aint going anywhere... -D

i believe mitch (damageinc) had a half cut or a spare 33 he was selling some parts from, pm him and see if he can hook you up -D
  20. probably also worth mentioning skytech on prospect road.... they do a bit of retail and the owner is a pretty good bloke... not sure how good their technicians are atm but they have some of the cheapest burnable media in adelaide -D
  21. i guess thats how its constructed, I've seen a few companies that have removed the nismo AFM electronic components and welded them into steel pipes of the same diameter... not sure if thats why they did it.. Im guessing the retune is needed due to the temperature of the compressed air? scandy - with the air on the intake side of the turbo, are we sure its the same volume? - it will be sucking in a lot of uncompressed air before the turbo compresses it, hence making the air more dense and increasing the temperature to boot - makes me wonder just how those AFM's work with their 'flow' under vacuum and flow under pressure - I know they have a 0-5v feedback depending on the calibration of the unit, but the science of it eludes me at this time kellie, pretty sure gaugeworks dont do defi, they do spitfire and vdo and a bunch of others (mostly mechanical gauges as opposed to the defi's being electrical)... that said the VDO's are great -D
  22. u completed modern warfare 2 yet andrew? -D
  23. I stand corrected... MAP sensors work in the same position ? -D
  24. you cant do that as the air in that section is compressed by the turbo, which means its temperature is different from ambient, and it cant calculate the volume properly. afm's must be before the turbo. -D
