if its a pure petroleum based fuel advertised at 98% octane then by law it has to be 98% with no additives. BP and Mobile and Caltex and Coles all have authentic 98% octane. (I mainly use Mobil myself but the others have been just as good). Just steer away from the United '100% octane' as it is an ethanol blended fuel and can affect your tune (unless your car has been tuned for that fuel especially) -D

while this is true, you can also find out what color your car came with from the factory by looking at the vin label - there will be a 3 character paintcode eg KH2 or something like that - you can then look it up on this forum for the correct original paint code. wont help you much with a respray but if you're wanting to revert it to original it helps -D

iirc the restrictor goes into the top oil feed (only 1) and its hammered in just like a welch plug the sump baffle gets welded in the head baffle screws into the cam covers -D

Head needs to come off to fit the restrictor How much are you able to get the sump baffles for, and have you got the tomei head baffles already? I'd be doing the head baffles first esp if the head has to come off to fit the restrictor... -D

yeah but once u turn the attessa off you cant renable it unless u get a constant voltage attessa controller like the HKS one, it changes the signal voltage relative to the setting, rather than just cutting the circuit all together costs around $500 fyi -D

agreed - i'd rate a gts-4 above a gt-t with a 26, simply cause of the 4wd ;\ the 4wd is what makes the gtr special however its a very nice car tangles and i hope u have fun driving it back ;D hope your knees hold out, mine start feeling sore after a long drive -D

+1, my old man told me that 5th should be reserved for anything over 80, and that goes for the majority of cars you need a certain amount of revs to cycle the oil system to the required pressure, I would never drive 60kph in 5th unless it was downhill (in which case the drivetrain is not under load)... the gear ratios in a GTR are quite nice imho, I wouldnt want to change the ratios for a daily driven car... on my weekend hills run, i very rarely used 5th gear and the fastest we went was 115kph, so I kept it in 4th for most of the way, and the entire 2 hour run took just a tad over a quarter tank... most of the time the car was in 3rd doing 4000rpm around corners, so I wasn't being gentle, and yet it took much less fuel than I estimated -D
