  4. That does indeed suck, but I wonder if a decent lawyer can't prove that he wasnt intending to give it back, since it was already stripped... in that case it may open up a precedent that it is in fact a crime, and the psychological trauma of having ones pride and joy violated (not to mention the inconvenience) wouldn't warrant compensation? Granted it'd be a very very low compensation but still something is better than nothing - and compensation lawyers generally work for any case even if it gets rejected, as the crown pays their expenses for compensation claims (even if they represent you and you lose, they get paid) -D Edit> +1 yeah if theres anything I have that can be used, I'll help out...

  11. You do have a point. I can't think of any alternative regarding getting 'foodage' or what not, but I'm just being an old grumpy bastard and think of the times you didnt need to rock up to a fiscal establishment/restaurant.. i have nothing against vilis (their chicken pies/mushroom pies are boss) but its been the de-facto meet for a long time... would be nice to start another meet place (one that isnt so visible?) Hell, I loved the meets Kellie use to plan. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have met half the folks I have... first one I went to I met Sled, Ruby, Kellie, Cara, Timbo, Blue32, etc... was a nice intro to sau Just wanna throw up the idea that maybe, just maybe, one doesn't have to meet up at vilis... variety is nice, and if anyone cares for it, I can always drop a GPS co-ordinate and see how many people can rock up That'd be sweet -D
  12. *sigh* not to be a wet blanket but isn't there a more enjoyable place to meet? Villis been the meet spot for the last 3 yrs, wouldn't it be nice to find a place with more car parking and less po po attraction? I could think of half a dozen places but I guess geography is gonna determine who wants to go where just sayin -D
  13. I'd recommend George from GT Autosound... did a great job repairing a botched alarm installation on my GTR -D
  14. In most cases yes, but that also depends upon the PSI rating of the actuator attached to the turbos Garret make em in 7, 14 and 21 psi... All are legal (but never as accurate/safe as an EBC, therein lies the dilemma) -D
  15. They >should< pass, whether or not they pass without hassle is another thing (depends on the inspector) - you >may< need a document that declares that the 2860 series are a direct bolt on replacement for the OEM turbos (I believe MTQ has these?) Good luck -D
  16. PM writeoff, I believe he has one or two... -D
  17. Keen on the heater core as previously discussed -D
  18. Yep theres a mob in melb with a clean room that can remove the platters and chuck it into a byte reader and get the data off but its pricey -D
  19. Best bet is to find the best ecu for the application in the second hand parts thread (I see them all the time) and then see Pete from PLMS for a cable, nistune board + installation - he'll take care of you Got mine around 2 years ago, was a great investment -D

  24. I sure hope so... there was talk today of GFC part 2 which didn't sound so great... -D
  25. I've gotten a full face organic from Madaz and its perfect for daily driving. You'll notice that switching from a stuffed clutch to a new one there will be extra pressure but there are a couple things you can do to help this, namely get a nismo slave cylinder, braided clutch line and a clutch pedal brace. The nismo slave will make it easier to push down on, and the line and brace will make the action more precise (optional really)... +1 to Madaz's clutches - excellent price and great product - Mines good for up to 300kw... -D
