lol its not that hot I was at my mechanics for some time last night and this morning fixing his dyno dynamics dyno Got it up and running a couple hours ago. We tested it on a nearby ute, it made a staggering 75kw ;P Sure its warm today but its not hot... wait till its 45'c, then you can say its hot heh -D

the 2hp genny would be infinately more preferable to the battery and inverter route, however it also comes down to how much juice it drinks and how loud it is (and how stinky the exhaust is) -D

dammit u guys got me thinking i was gonna go nismo till shane got me thinking about the diameter and yeah I wanna keep it as regency friendly as possible. i dont have a powerfc and wont be using that, instead ill be getting a nistune daughterboard for my ecu just wish the nismo afms werent so damn expensive -D

sweet dude, that'd be great. We'd need around 400 watts minimum, bigger is even better but only for the sake of recharging laptops -D

Thats the idea... we'd need power tho, thats the only problem (unless someone has a deep cycle battery with 12 hours of 400 watts load. Aircon draws something like 250 watts (say 350 for initial load when powering on) and the router takes 18 watts, so 400watt inverter would be good. Otherwise it'd be an AC plug from somewhere or a small generator -D

There was a bloke in the FS thread selling an evap cooler for $50. might see if we can grab that i got laptop with wifi but more importantly Next G -D Edit - its nick who has the aircon, just messaged him about it. aircon consumes 210watts, which is bugger all, so I reckon that might even run off an AC inverter from a deep cycle battery

I didnt know the spacers were on all 4 wheels when I bought it, and tbh I didnt notice a difference when they were off, so I can say confidently that if you bolt your wheels up tight, it wont be an issue -D

mm that bites... thats the sorta thing that would be kinda fun to challenge in court (if one was very wealthy) - the failure of the govt to provide adequate testing equipment as well as the stupidity of trying to enforce laws that they have no means of testing accurately. If it wouldnt cost so much money, it'd be a worthy waste of time.. (even representing yourself, court can cost a lot unfortunately) -D
