  2. Hi All. It's time to sell my Skyline. The details are: 1994 Nissan Syline R33 GTS-T -18 inch Chrome Wheels and good Toyo Tyres -Brand New RACQ battery (with 2 year warranty) -Slotted Brake Rotors on the front -Front skirt and eyelide -APEXI exhaust -Turbosmart Dual Stage Boost Controller -Turbo Timer -Stainless steel air filter Price: $8900 This car has been brilliant. It is still in great condition. I have regularly serviced it at APC in Brisbane. It is registered until June. I will get a RWC on the car upon sale. The reason I am selling is I have to upgrade my car due to family. I have treated the car well, and it has treated me well. It has about 187 000 km's on it (genuine km's). I am open to offers, so please pm me and come and have a look at it! Cheers! Luke
  3. Hi Guys, I just want to let you guys know to be wary when dealing with The Shock Absorber Reconditioners at Slacks Creek. I had my front shocks reconditioned. They seem to be quite good now. The problem was that when I got home I noticed my front bar was hanging low on the right hand side. The mount wher the screw goes through on the bar is broken. So now I have to get my front bar fixed. :pissed: I didn't notice it at first as they backed the car out of their workshop for me. I walked around behind the car and got in as the mechanic had left the door open for me. So just make sure you walk all the way around your car before you leave. I spoke with one of the guys there, and they said nothing happened of course. They have a bad driveway which the guy said they can't do anything about. Anyway, the work that they do with shocks seems to be ok. Perhaps they need to take extra care with our 'lines. Just check your car before you leave! Eek
  4. Hey guys, some more pics would be great. I'm thinking of doing mine as well since console on my R33 is looking old and a little scratched! Eek
  5. Hello All, I have done a search on the forums and I did not come up with anything. My problem is when I press the button to fold in the wing/rear view mirrors on my r33, the left hand mirror (passenger) does not fold in anymore. I don't know if it is a motor problem or not. The driver's side folds in ok. Anyone had this problem before and how did you fix it? Thanks in advance!! Eek
  6. I used the Shockabsorber Reconditioners on my r33 rear shocks. They are at Slacks Creek, Brisbane. Don't know if they are open saturday. They are very good. The shocks are great. Eek
  7. Hey all, my g/f's car is a Mitsubishi Galant with a 4g63 in it. I'm having problems with it. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a forum for galants/lancers on the web, or any good sites with info on these cars. Cheers, Eek
  8. Hi Skyliners, My problem is with the fuel flap ( the metal peice that covers the fuel tank cap). The clip that holds it closed appears to have broken. So now the fuel flap will not stay flush with the car (closed). Does anybody out there know where I can get this fixed up in Brisbane? Thanks, Eek :ufo:
  9. For benm/51jay, do you know if the 400R rear bar will fit on to the car as is, or will modifications have to be made. I have a 94 R33 (series 1). Just wondering if it will fit without much of a hassle. Cheers, Eek
  10. Is the 400R rear bar still for sale? I am in Brisbane. Cheers, Eek
  11. Hi. Are the interior parts still available. Are you willing to sell the interior parts individually. Also would you be willing to ship it interstate? Cheers, Eek

  15. Anybody?? Sheesh, I thought there may have been a few people out there that might like some cheap rubber to waste. 'Tis negotiable! Cheers, Eek
  16. Hello, I have 2 x Bridgestone Potenza SO3's in 235x40x18 for sale. Tyres only. These tyres have been used, they were on my R33. The tyres still have around 40-50% tread left (at a guess). Suitable for someone who wants to waste some tyres on the strip/track or even :burnout: (the tryes have legal amount of tread left though). These tyres new cost me $385 each, so I guess if I'd be happy with about $60 each. I am in Brisbane. Cheers, Eek.
  17. Hi, Do you know if they fit an r33 gtst? Also would you be prepared to send them to Brisbane (I pay the freight of course)? Please let me know ASAP. Thanks, Eek
  18. Hello, I may be in need of uni joints and a center bearing for an R33. Do you guys stock these parts? If you do, do you have an approximate price? Thanks, Eek
  19. Hello all, well I think my uni joints are cactus. Does anybody know where I can get replacement uni joints in Brisbane? And a part number would be good? Approximate cost? I know I ask alot, but any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Eek
  20. Hello All, I'm just wondering if anyone out there knows where I can get the door trims for an R33. I would like a set of spare trims so that I can experiment with creating a custom speaker mount in the front door - I don't want to stuff up the ones I have now. An approxiamte price also?? Thanks in advance, Eek
  21. Hello I'm Luke. Got a maroon r33 gtst. I work in the city, live on the southside, g/f in Kingscliff - so I'm forever on the M1. She's fairly stock looking, and usual bits - exhaust, pod etc. Give us a wave! Cheers, Eek
  22. Hello all, just wondered if any of you have heard of this. Whenever I acclerate at low speed, I hear a loud click, coming from outisde (or underneath) the car. It also happens when i stop accelerating. Could it be that the center bearing is stuffed? Seems to happen when there is an intial change rpm? Any thoughts are welcome. Cheers, Eek:alien:
  23. Hello all, my mag wheel on the left hand front side is touching the brake caliper? How can i move the caliper away from the mag? I think this is one reason why i'm getting bad vibration. I've had one suggestion to grind the mag a little on the inside, but i'm a little reluctant to do this. If I have to do this, anyone know where i can get it done? Cheers, Luke p.s. the right front mag has a couple of mm's tween it and the caliper? Anyone else found this or know why the left is different to the right?
  24. Hello all, I have done a search on this problem i have on the forums and have got a bit of information, some of which seems to contradict the other. So just wondering if anyone has experienced this/knows a fix for it. Here goes: I took the car for a wheel alignment and balance cause i had bad vibration over 120km/hr. Guess what? It's still there. It's violent between 120-130km/h. I've noticed that at 120km/h it vibrates through the steering wheel. 130km/h, the vibration in the steering wheel is less, but the console (where the radio a/c is) shakes like hell. At 140km/h, the vibration moves to the drive shaft/rear i think. Any ideas on what this could be or how i could fix it? Thanks in advance! Cheers, Eek
  25. Whoa, heaps of replies! I didn't know what was best for the tyres - to be on front or rear, that's why I asked. My wheels are all the same size, and the tyres currently on the front have slightly less grip than the back - not talking brand new on the back and worn at the front. Well I took the car for a wheel alignment and balance cuase i had bad vibration over 120km/hr. Guess what? It's still there. It's violent between 120-130km/h.
