  1. +1 for Police Road Panels. They did a fantastic job on my Subie. Good as new.
  2. Is this still for sale? Can you please post or PM me some pics of the engine bay? Are you the first Australian owner and do you have a full service history? thx
  3. See the first picture in my previous post? Yea, that's how many cars went lol only 3 in total. On the way there the weather held up pretty well most of the time, but some of the twisties were a bit wet under the canopies. Going home we took the scenic route, which was very nice. Not many cars on the road, and those that were on the road were nice enough to pull over and let us go past. We couldn't believe our luck!! As we got closer to Melbourne the rain came, but by then we'd pretty much finished. I haven't got much more photos, here are a couple of other good ones.
  4. Well, it wasn't a very good turnout, but those who came had an excellent time. Weather was good most of the time too, which was a plus. See ya all next time!
  5. Hey, can someone give me a map of where we are meeting.. I dont wanna turn up at the wrong place Thanks. cya all tomorrow.
  6. Hey guys! I was bored tonight and just checking what was going on in the cruise section. This looks pretty awesome. I think I'll meet you guys there! Weather forecast looks good, partly cloudy but no rain. I got some new tyres last week as well! wooooo!!
  7. Guys & gals, this car is still up for sale. Price drop to $18,500. 4 brand new Michelin tyres (Energy series), worth $800 Current milage is almost 49,000km Any and all inspections and inquiries welcome. 8. This post on NS.com seems to answer your question...
  9. i actually took a new 07 wrx for a test drive from a dealership and i honestly found it a bit underwhelming. I expected more power... i haven't driven a STi, but i'm sure that'd be significantly better. the price however is the real killer. looking at second hand cars, decent (newish) sti's cost around $30-35K. 33 GTRs are around the 27-33K range. Which one will win on a track/drag or just which one is more fun everyday? All depends what you prefer really.
  10. that site is gay.
  11. Hi, Sorry if this question has been asked 247099998 times before, but I searched everywhere and couldn't find a definite answer when it came to GT-R specifics. I'm guessing it will differ slightly from the differences between the GTS-T series'. What is the differences between the following and how do you tell them apart easily? R33 GT-R Series 1 R33 GT-R Series 2 R33 GT-R Series 3 Is it to do with the shape of the lights, bonnet, xenon lights, airbag standard/optional (driver and/or passenger), active LSD? Thanks!
  12. Don't use the "fast reply" box as you dont have much options there. Click on "ADD REPLY" or "More Options" at the bottom and there you'll have a green area where you can upload pictures up to 32mb at a time.
  13. Thanks Matt, The Whiteline kit cost me about $1000 plus about $150 to get some of it fitted as I don't have the tools to it all at home. Anyway, before I fitted the kit, the car was prone to very bad understeer and a lot of body roll. After I fitted everything, the car was transformed! Much less body roll and is much more neutral around corners. It seems to grip the road like never before. The rear swaybar makes the biggest difference (stock GX only come with front sway bar - nothing else). The front strut top bar allows much better initial bite in the early stages of a corner, but without the rest of the kit, will only exaggerate the understeering. All in all, if/when I ever buy another Subaru, whether it be a WRX or STi or whatever, I reckon I'd do it all again in a heartbeat! I don't drive recklessly or speed or anything like that, but I like to enjoy myself a little on the twisties. Good healthy legal fun -- the best kind In case you're really interested, theres some articles on AutoSpeed which is what convinced me to buy this kit: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4 and Part 5. Anyway (didn't mean for this to go on so long ) I've also listed the car on carsales.
  14. So what color is your favourite? I like black, but hard to keep the stone chips away.. Sooo many white ones out there, but they look nice. Midnight purple... red... Bah, just get it resprayed in yellow or ornage! (this is not a serious post)
