Hey all, i need to clear an EPA notice in the next couple of weeks and my car is pretty much stock (R33 GT-R) except for a 3.5" turbo back exhaust. I've been told by Daalder in Dandenong (who do EPA noise testing too) that there's no way it'll pass cos even the stock exhaust barely passes in most cases. Anyone got any ideas where to source a stock exhaust system? I've tried calling RE Customs and Racepace and a couple of local Jap/Import wreckers, I should hear back from them by tomorrow morning, but is anyone on here able to help, maybe you have one?

Hi all, Need to get a stock 33 GTR exhaust (turbo back if possible) to clear an EPA notice. Any help will be much appreciated or if you know any place that can help too! I already rang RE Customs and Racepace, they said they'll check and get back to me, but hopefully someone on here can help me Thanks guys!

Thanks again Wayne for an awesome cruise, you really went to quite a bit of effort to plan it all out and I'm sure everyone will agree that we had an awesome time! The weather was awesome, not a drop in sight, and the drive back in particular was really fun. Those big, fast sweeping corners one after the next around Marysville were just spectacular and I started to remember again why I bought a Skyline... it's been way too long since I've been on a proper cruise Sorry to whoever was behind me whenever I really put my foot into it, hope all those carbon fragments come out of your car - LOL. I need to attend to my coilpacks (again) and maybe get my tune checked. Thanks Ash for all the awesome photos & coming shotgun with me too. Was quite tired by the end of it, but can't wait for the next one!

R33 Gtr Hard Intercooler Pipe Kit Recommendations
dilmah replied to dilmah's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Just an update. I ended up getting the Hard Pipe kit from Just Jap. Very happy now, hasn't budged a bit since I bolted it on nice and tight. Some very good quality clamps included, not like the ones in the pic on their site, which is a good thing cos they cos like $10 each from autobarn otherwise. I've only put the top two pipes on cos cbf taking the front bar out, and the other hoses haven't given me any problems (yet) -

R33 Gtr Hard Intercooler Pipe Kit Recommendations
dilmah replied to dilmah's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
what about silicon hoses? where can i find just that hose (dont need the whole kit like i've seen in some places for like $700 which replaces *all* the rubber hoses in the engine bay!) - i doubt autobarn and stuff would stock them ey? hopefully just one hose will be less than $100 and will be brand new instead of $80 for another second hand rubber one... -

R33 Gtr Hard Intercooler Pipe Kit Recommendations
dilmah replied to dilmah's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
just replying to my own thread, only thing i've found online for a somewhat reasonable price is the JJR Intercooler Hard Pipe Kit from Just Jap I'm also checking with Slide about their Trust intercooler piping kit -
Hi! My intercooler pipe on the passenger side between the "twin turbo" pipe and the intercooler has a massive hole in it now cos I clamped it on so tight after it repeatedly blew off in the past, so I'm after something a little more durable. I've been quoted about $80 for just that hose from local wreckers/workshops to just over $100 for all four hoses that form the path to and from the intercooler (again second hand and still OEM rubber which will be over 10 years old, etc.)) I'm just wondering if it'll be better to spend the extra $300 or so to get the whole kit in hard pipes so it'll never happen again The car is pretty much standard, so don't need anything too fancy. I've been searching online all over ebay, the forums here and google and not finding much in terms of prices and places i can source them (locally in vic if possible to save on postage) thanks!!
