  1. shame they couldn't get www.nissangtr.com instead... the previous owner of my car still keeps re-registering the domain and he doesn't even own a gtr anymore
  2. w00.. put me down
  3. Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I'll give it a go in the next few weeks & report back on how it all goes & what i ended up using. I don't really want it to be glossy, I'd prefer a matt black. I've seen some people really shine it up and IMHO i don't really like it. Thanks also to Ant97GTR, it's good to hear from someone who has done it before with good results. the gtr is actually a series 1, not sure about the steering wheel, but it doesn't have the red stitching around it... it's a pretty good steering wheel though, i dont have any problems with the size or feel of it.
  4. i'm interested... should be fun!
  5. sounds good, whatever the destination is. put me down
  6. meh, cops don't bother me. i reckon most people are voting for 25th cos it's earlier than the rest.. they're all eager to go for a drive in this fine weather
  7. bring the gtr! we need more gtrs on these. yet to see a 34 gtr on any cuises
  8. ok i'll vote for something else then
  9. i thought the date's not confirmed yet... hmm... what date to vote for... doesn't realy matter to me.
  10. woo, awesome, first time i've seen this thread, and i'm already on there confirmed! How's that for service!!
  11. Donkey Kong? :laughing-smiley-014: hahaha..
  12. omg, i found a of it, lots of motorbikes & big sweeping corners.i think we'd better start another thread, it's getting cluttered in here otherwise
  13. hmm. i've done the black spur before, and the roads are awesome, but tend to get stuck behind some grandpa doing 40 & looking at the trees instead of the 30 skylines behind. lol. nah, it's not that bad actually Reefton I haven't done before, looks like an awesome drive... probably could do them both as one massive cruise, they're not that far from each other. All I see on the map is lots and lots of wiggly roads man, i could go for a bbq right now! but seriously i reckon that'd be awesome.
  14. yeah, well they're closing soon anyway... so now there's no reason whatsoever to ever go to dandenong plaza again
  15. lol... you guys make me laugh. asif you think it's not a gtr you'll need to come on some cruises and check it out for yourself! anyway, yes, it's a series 1 vspec as it says in my profile. the bumper lip is made of plastic, but is very flexible, which is what made me unsure as to whether it was a very strong rubber bumper. Anywho, I'd like to make it look a nice matt black like I'm sure it did originally, although currently it's a dull shade of gray with scratches along the bottom. Has anyone tried sanding (wet sanding or whatever) their front lip... did it turn out alright? Last thing I wanna do is make it look shitter than what it is.
  16. good point lol... you may come back out and only have half a skyline
  17. Hey all, I've been meaning to do this for some time now since I got my car, but wondering if anyone has tried it before and what success they've found with different methods/products, etc. Basically I've got the stock front bar with the rubber/plastic lip at the bottom, which looks a bit gray and weathered when looked at up close. Also, has a few scratches which I'd like to remove. So, has anybody done this before? I tried searching but didn't come up with anything. I was thinking to remove it, give the underneath (where most of the scratches are) a bit of a sand down (not the front), remove some of the bits of loose rubber around existing scrapes on the front and give it a coat of something to protect it from weather, etc. in the long term. I found references to Mothers Back to Black and some AutoGlym products searching google, but nothing with hard results. Stuff like ArmorAll is meant for internal use generally as far as I know. Picture of my bumper: Thanks.
  18. bah. that's no excuse. recommend some good places to cruise. I hear mt buller is good. arthurs seat is alright, but way shorter than i remember. what else is around? post more pics guys & gals... i wanna see some of my beast on the road. my photos are random and blurry.. just whatever came out when i stick the camera out the window and press the clicker.. can't even see what i'm taking lol
