  4. lol
  5. good to see this is still going. This and about 2 other threads are the only reason i enter this part. Keep up the good work.
  6. welcome, another vic (or shitorian as i am know to some work mates) here. I have never delt witht he pits personally but its similar to getting a road worthy done. Fix the things they put down and clean anything else up. if you get done for the height and exhaust but think they may pick on something else fix it too, unlike vic if you fail the inspection you have to pay again so best to get everything you can think of done. Hope that is understandable. Also for drift most people are on driftwa if you have not already found that site.
  7. ha good to see its about as helpfull as i am.
  8. doesnt the manual say? i remember something being in there.
  9. nope havent done that but happy o come over and look over your sholder while giving mis-guided directions
  10. No cat = EPA, which is not a normal over the pits thing and cost a shit load. Better to get a good quality cat that flows well no point in not running one.
  11. all clad in black with paint ball guns and beards
  12. agreed with Bubba. Get one private (not through a woek shop) and make a weekend to swop it over. BBQ + beer should get enough hands to do it and a service before it goes in.
  13. farrrrk, sorry to hear. I dont recall a bigend but them again i was not looking for one.
  14. ar but its pants and shirt now at the new job. dont want to loose the job yet so that can wait till after everyone is settled
  15. do you have to wear pants and a shirt if you dont turn up?
  16. *booo, hissss.* Well looks like ill have to wait then.
  17. came up good, start it tonight
  18. Sorry i havent used any of the workshops here so cant help. If that is the way you want to go get them to get the car running and if you have money left over do the service, if not the collective minds here can do it easy. If its moving it will make easier to get to someones place/w/shop for a meet up.
  19. i the kit it is easy to do but that problem would not stop the car starting/running.
  20. if you take the motor out it may take longer than a weekend. personally i would do this on an older car but only if i had my own/friends shed so i dont have to rush getting it done. If you havent got time or said space now do what can be done with the motor in and try and get everything else done once you have a free space. on the other hand if you can get a few people together who collectivly have done all this you may get it done in one swoop easy.
  21. Sorry new job = less time to visit here. Are you planing on taking the motor out? This will vary the cost and time. Can do a weekend on it if you get it in cover. one day to do the service the next to find the elec prob/finish off service. I good with everything but the timing belt change. While i know how to do it i have never done one. Cheers
  22. ahhh, cad skills come in so handy.
  23. ^*feels like he was stalked on friday night*^
  24. any more done bubba?
  25. in vic there was no major problems with it. the trick (like most fuels) is to find a servo that has a high turn over so you know it hasnt been sitting for months.
