turbo will be easier to swop with motor out. I would look at anything that may need replacing depending on age; ie the hoses at the back of the motor.

11ty billon dollars...................nar. Dont mind poping over and helping out but im flat out on the weekends so have little time. I can spare a few hours on sat late arvo at this stage.

if its a vac leak then thats easy more than happy to help if i have time. you will have to replace those hoses too even if they are not the current problem.

What have you checked? I had a simillar prob in my r32 and it turned out to be a loose ground the the ignitor.

so you get no puddles of water at all? What does your temp guage read? Other than the hose have you replaced anything else?

is it the 300km dash from a gtr?? from memory, and its hazy, the plugs are the same but the wires are in different locations. I could be wrong tho.

from memory its like $70 for the pits, but i have never been over so cant say. Also i do remember everyone recomending ringing up and booking/paying for a spot before you get there to make it quicker. Rego is around 400-450 for my cars on private so id expect somewhere around there.

I wouldnt be too nervous but make sure you get ALL the paperwork (import approval/complience etc) before picking up the car other than that keep it clean etc etc etc.
