Cant remember your set up, so you have an external also correct.

there is a little black lever on the boot lock that when in position "A" let the release in the car open it and when in position "B" it wont open via the release only a key. Its designed this way so that you can put stuff in the boot, put the lever in "B" and if someone gets into the car they can not open the boot. Quite often gets hit by accident and people lock them selfs out because at some stage the door locks were replaced but not the boot so their key wont work.

Again dont know the QLD system but if you do have to do their version of the pits then its not too bad just takes time i guess. Our Rav had personal plates on it (Vic) and no you dont get to keep them. We had the car for 5+ years with the plates so money wise its not a loss but if you just got your's then it will be. If the combonation is available i say you will be able to get them done in QLD but ofcourse you will have to pay again.

the only thing i dont like about the 4 doors (this goes for 32/3/4) is the tail lights. If it was easy to put the coupe ones in i would go for it. I understand that Nissan wanted them to be different but they just look like @ss to me.

hard to say too many variables. i have had cars take months and months to sell then other done in less than a week. Depends on price, condition, specs, PRICE but most of all buyers.

i have done the vic - perth then back again. Cant speak for the QLD rego system but here you provide 12+ months of ownership and they transfer it on the spot without a pits check. May have the same set up there? I have used CEVA (use to be TNT) for my transport but there are heaps of companys out there (most removels companys will do it along with your belongings). Keep in mind that a Dualis will cost a bit more being a '4X4' and sits on the upper deck of the train carrage. Thats either good or bad depending on how you look at it, more chance of a rock hitting it but my car was on the lower deck and it was covered in brake dust/dirt by the time it got here. Also if its just for a shord time to start with then most states let you stay on you current rego for about 3 months before you 'have to change it over'. Hope that helps

If you are talking about the one on the rear muffler its standard from factory. opens up after 4k (or there abouts from memory) im going to make mine always open. I would like to put BBS on mine but im thinking ill go jap to be different. O/T while driving around on the weekend only saw maroon r33's, seem to be multiplying at a stupid rate.

im happy to try Kings and if its no good sure we can find some where else.
