  1. hmm that suck, im o/s on the 8th so ill have to attened the next one
  2. with you on this one 100%
  3. hes alive ,alive i tell you!!
  4. you have a 32 so there still is hope yet.
  5. everytime i see an update in here i am blown away with how much work you are doing. Once done it would be worth it to fly over, check it out and buy you a beer or ten. Love the r32's and will get one again one day soon once i have sorted a house out.
  6. np, use to be in the industry (not voda but the biggest one) so know a thing or too and always happy to help.
  7. ok there should be an option under your settings to turn off 'notifications' this will stop it updating untill you do it manualy.
  8. i would say no, unless its done correctly you will lean out some of the cylinders. It was designed to have the t/b in the centre and by moving it you change where/how the air flows. Had a mate with a very high powered (at the time) r33 that tryed this and poped the motor.
  9. arhh the old beast, wanna sell it?? Ha jk buit i do miss it, may have to take me for a ride in it. Done anything to it yet? Im only good for the 15th or later (overseas before that ) but since i dont have a r32 does my vote count??
  10. what phone you got??
  11. again google it everyone is the same. On the train one of the guys i work with has no reception between perth and his stop (voda) and im fine (optus). try what i have suggested. PS will have to get you to take some photo's of the new to me car once it arrives, maybe on the next cruise. Cheers
  12. you would have to look into it but basicly they are not providing the service (ie reception) as described in the contract so they have voided it. Means you should not have to pay a thing to end it, this info is just from what i have heard and in no way is it the rule. Best thing is to ring them and while being polite but firm (remember the person on the other end of the phone is just doing their job and is not personally accountable for the lack of service) tell them that you have had very little to no service for x amount of time and that you would like the contract ended so you can go to another carrier. Make sure you get the persons NAME and I.D NUMBER (if they have one) incase it does not work so you can ring back up and say that you spoke to said person on date whatever.
  13. are they holes from the hail storm? not stickers?
  14. dont blame the phone, there is a class action law suit agains them becasue of this. There are some other good deals out there, not as good as them but, however you will have reception.
  15. im good may even have a car by then but after all the hassels i have had so far i wont hold my breath.
  16. Only if you supply more old school style cars (z are my fav) Get the car you like and that is good to drive everyday (hint dont by a stripped/track only car) i say this for your first one. Get into them enjoy learn and have fun. I got my first r32 when i was 19 and still had them up untill about 1 month ago (27 now) and will get another in the future. you dont have to spend mega dollars on it to have fun and i would advise getting a stock car (motor wise) as it will be less of a pain. trus me i drove my stripped, no air con or heater, loud r32 around for 18 months as a daily (had no other choice) and i started to resent the car. not fun at all.
  17. Sorry Eps but i have to point out that 'low and hard' are not the best suspension set up for any sort of racing, drift or other wise. while you do want it stiffer and lower that stock making it as low and still as possible can be worse. In saying that i am 100% backing you on the pic rant (mmmmm z20 soarer *drools*) Had a mate with a white one, stuipd amounts of power sooooo coooooool. I also have a thing for the old school style of the oil cooler hanging out the front. Back to the OP, check out that drift wa site they have all their practice nights/days and comps listed and there is quite a few at barbagallo (spelling??) so nice and easy to get to. Cheers
  18. do you ever sleep? OT, looks good wonder how long it would last.
  19. haha nice, Kermits work is always top notch.
  20. personally i would go the r33/4 over the r32 (and i have owner/drifted/raced all) im not saying this because i dont like r32's. With a little weight reduction and the fact that they come with an rb25 (nothing agains a rb20 i have never thought of changing mine) it makes a better car to start and then develop over a r32, plus they are cheap now!! To start with you wont need lots of power to drift but a good suspension set up. to become a pro there is a fair bit of work (even harder over here as most 'series' run on the east coast and thats your best bet to gain notice) As an example i am from Vic and have competed (a few years ago before the days of DA etc) and then supported a few of my very good friends in the DA series. One of these guys has been in Japan for a while and is the first 'outsider' ever to be handed a licence to D1 (a few have demanded/paid for one). In australia he was struggaling to get sponsership and while he competed very well here just got left behind by the guys with big power that didnt have to worry about hitting a wall. Not to put you off at all, i say get into it enjoy yourself and see where it takes you. Also check out http://www.driftwa.com.au/ as this is were most of the local events are listed. anything else just ask cheers
  21. im in for a run as long as i can bring a non r32 along. May have sold mine but still love them.
  22. Sorry you will have to remove me and make it 14, mine was sold to another member about 2 months ago (once the house is sorted i may get another in about a year)
  23. ok so your not getting it turn on via the comp at the moment then. Next question, was it all running before you put it??
  24. are you enjoying the skyline over your old VW? (stalker??)
  25. Stupid question maybe but have you checked all the fuses/relays? Were any removed from the fuse box's and not put back? Does the fuel pump turn on when the key is at acc? were are you located? Cheers
