all r32 run the antenna (FM) in the front window. what you have is a non-gen one.
If it was me i would be ringing obrian (if not istalled yet) and telling them to get a gen one or shannons (if installed) and telling them that they installed the wrong one as it has no atenna and to get them install a correct one.
As far as i am aware they are all the same size window (haapy to be proven wrong) but it sounds as if they just went the non-gen option.
Would have but it was not till the last second i saw you plus i was in the wifes Rav4. Thought you may think who is this retard!
You can use the GTS-t one but if the front bar has the extra n1 vents then you will have to modify that reo.
agreed but ill extend it. Being from a retail back ground i find that customer service in general has gone down the drain alot (sorry to say but i find WA more so than Vic too). I got better service via email from a sydney based company when i was chasing a part for my MTB, most bike stores here said 'no cant get that' and the store i got the bike from could only get a price once I had given them the part number from their own supplier!!! Then he wanted to charge me $28 inc postage when i could get it from the syd company for $9.
GMG
I had one up untill about 1 month ago. First time in about 8 years without one
Saw you (well i think it was) ten four on Wed night oon south tce near kensington.
Are you suggesting that we dont work fulltime???
Glad I can choose my hours with work, ill be there at this statge. *waits for email request for early morning meeting from boss to ruin plans*
Thats why i was wondering what power/mods he had. After seeing Roy's results i wouldnt bother myself with after market however the gtr ITB set up has proven to be a little better.
find an adaptor plate (they do pop up every now and then on ebay/sau and other site) once you have that it a matter of taking off the old and putting on the new. May not be as simple as it sounds.
What power/mods do you have now?
If you look half way down this page you will see all the parts together with the adaptor plate i was talking about.
Should be easier to get those that one that has been blocked off properly. Wrecker for the pump and cooler, repco/malz/autoone/supercheap or who ever you go to for the rest.
I dont have one but another idea is to hook up a power steering cooler to the secondary (HICAS) side of the rb20 pump. This may help get you one quicker. I did this on my rb20 with 1/2 meter of hose, 4 clamps and a auto cooler from a stag (33/34 or any trans cooler) so didnt cost an arm and a leg.
My mate get it direct from Nissan (sorry dont have the p/n on me) its the best he has found so far. He is not a panel beater so your contacts may have something better.
Your rebuild inspires me to keep my r32 and finish what i started.
Cheers
Ross
Looking good. Everytime i look in here it makes me want to keep my r32 (full stip of anything not needed, aircon, wiring, s/dead etc) and then do a little to the motor. Bah
Stole this from another forum.
As the title says post a pic or link to something or a car/bike what ever that inspires you.
Ok ill start. Here is a garage that has shown you can have a well organised place that looks good but only a double shed.
