  1. Check the DIY section there is a write up on it in there, its a pain to do if you dont have a press let alone while the cradle is still in the car. Short answer is no.
  2. How did you do it??
  3. hey and welcome. We did the move over here abot a year and a half ago from Vic. Its not that bad here as people have said seems more relaxed than other citys and so far we have not changed our rego but its not an import so i dont think they look at it closely.
  4. i can get you some 2nd hand ones if needed
  5. Im hungry now
  6. I recently strip all the sound deadner out of my GTS-t ( i assume that the GTR would be the same) and it weighed a total of 26kg That was a fun job (hint always use the dry ice method, much easyer!!!) Cheers Ross
  7. if you need a hand give me a call its easy as. You should be able to hide 99% of the wiring so no one will know (depending on the colour of the HID's)
  8. Can not remember were he lived (didnt even have his p yet when he got it) but he work's at Harvey Norman on stock road just near soth st so could have been him. Man i miss that car, stock and soooo nice to drive.
  9. to clairefy i should have said im thinking of getting another r34, and whats wrong with going from a gts-t to a gt-t?? I would love to get a GTR but have other/better priorities at the moment, plus there is many advantages going to a newer car.
  10. yep and im thinking of getting another one but the wheels are not GTC's (would have kept them if they were) i think they are by speedy, but can not remember. They are speedy envy mk 2 http://www.speedywheels.com.au/alloy.htm
  11. Ahh the old memorys of my skylines. First one i had was an adm r31 (got no photo's) Then this r32 Then the r34 and back to the current r32
  12. What about 32 gtst? The have the same hole as the gtr's but it is covered by a plate, there for if i was to remove the plate and put the stock gtr pipe in place would it still be legal. I know the 32's dont have air bags but it makes me wonder if this is an option for 32 gtst drivers as it would be the same as a gtr and the crash specs would not be changed.
  13. Someone can correct me if im wrong but you would have to get an adapter (aka dog bone) to space your std caliper out so the gtr rotor will fit. I would change the pads as well but thats me.
  14. This is correct for the rear but the front are 4 pot (2 per pad on the front on per pad on the rear.)
  15. Russ, Do you still has the rear wiper with the new fire wall?? Cheers Ross
  16. Mine was doing the same but it was just the needle 'popping' out. Pulled it out, regreased it and put it back to gether not a problem now. If you need a hand shoot me a pm and ill help you fix it.
  17. if need an extra pair of hands ill help out.
  18. Ha i thought the 32/33 were the same, i stand corrected.
  19. suprahb you have n/a brakes.
  20. 1. Should be a direct bolt on fit (34 gtr use diff size bolt, 32/33 are the same) 2. The caliper, disk and i would also put on ADR braided lines 3. Dont see why not as that is how they came from factorie. 4. I would also change the brake fluid and if it were me the master cylnder to a gtr as it is larger or inspect your one and if need be change the seals.
  21. mate if you need a hand I work in the sterio busness for neer on 3 years so give me a yell. You can not run 2 units off the same set of speakers. If you wanted to keep both decks one would have to run the front speakers and the second the rear speakers, can not do both from both. Cheers Ross
  22. I can help you make it at the "100k service" day easy as
  23. The above is basicly why i chose to 'build' a r32gtst track car instead of a gtr. I could purchase and do most of the mods on the gtst for the price of a gtr and there is the less weight issue too. Ross
  24. im in, have tools and knowlage, have done everything a millon times over but the timing belt.
  25. What is on the front ill have a look have a few of those mags.
