hey bud, Going well but no mods as of yet. still love the fact that most people have no idea what it is or is capable of. Pulled up the carpet to put floor bords down. It about 4.5 x 3.5, not stains or anything but has been sitting out side, wheat in colour. also have the underlay. All yours for some hops inspired liquid. There will be a second one once i get to that part of the house.

so you didnt get a spare? If its just an alarm i dont THINK a locksmith will help (no harm in asking) but deff get onto the place that fit it they MAY be able to help. Let us know how you go.

sorry i think you took that the wrong way. The half a brain comment was not aimed at you but the scum who usually steel cars. One of my previous jobs was as an installer for alarms cruise controls etc and out of all the ones i have done/seen/fixed over the years there has not been one that does what you say hence the wired wrong comment. Again MOST will have a turn key X amount of times or push buttton x amount of times to over ride the alarm and immob. but with out the code nothing can be done. To the OP: Did you get a second alarm remote (put it a safe spot and forgot about it?) If not contact the place you got it installed and ask why the second one was not given and IF they can get another and program it. Last option is to remove it.

My mate has run one on his built rb25 for a while. Pluged the hole and thats been that not a problem. Its your choice.

Really?? Kind of defeats the point of an imobaliser if you can 'disconnect' it that easy. I could be wrong but it sounds as if that has been wired wrong. Alarms usually have a manual override (with input of code) as described above but if you can do what you are describing, anyone with half a brain can take your car.

I have headed ones in my R32* but have never ever needed to use them and being in WA dont think i ever will. Maybe if i come over east ill go to the snow just so i can use them..lol. I like the nav screen trick. May i suggest (if you can) edit your first post to include the complete list of part number so people can find what they are after with out going through the complete thread. * VW not a nissan before you get excited

I have seen alot of his work (both exhausts and other) and its allways top notch. There was a few feature cars in mags last year with his intakes and exhausts.

Its an 08 and i would assume the vaiable type (top of the line model with climet control). There is a common fault but its not intermittent. Car is out of warranty however im getting it serviced soon so ill get them to run a diagnostic test on it. I think it a sensor that is tripping out when the car sits in the sun all day (getting hot inside) to give a faulse reading. No stress was just hopeing it would be gas as thats an easy (and cheaper) fix.

and just to add further to the postage thing. We had another package sent to us by a family member before xmas express post that only arrived yesterday. It SHOULD have taken maybe 2 days tops (From country Vic so sometimes next day doesnt happen) not over a week.

go for it! I did when i saw it for the same reason. lol How ever since using it when meeting new members they all think im a large guy not a tall skiny one. so far they have all had a shock.
