  1. Nis tune hey? Sounds like the go. Will Hyperdrive Motor Sports in the Perth no how? The cat is real just modified flanges. So onto turbos. i have been looking at some and the names are all over the shop. Could some one point me in the right direction? Then I will put a shopping list up and see if you guys can "improve" "save" on things.
  2. So with the NIS Tune software I would requre O2 sensors? Wouldn't that bring the price up to the price of a "new" PFC?
  3. WOW! Thanks for that. Now the best the place to go for them? Second ECU would be the best option? Brand new Garrett turbos - were from? (would perfer new, sick of buying second hand GTR ones and breaking) Cams - Haven't heard the brand before will read some reviews. Dumps second hand? Fuel pump sounds "new" and is making a loud whiring noise. Will look at this as well. Injectors? How much for a set? No point tuning then retuning later em I right? Thanks!

  5. Already got a HKS super dragger and Highflowed cat. I had a look at some GT-SS HKS "kits" they seem to come with every thing I need. Is it a over board package or everything I need?. Also are second hand turbos are a no no? Would the PFC be more flexible in the long run compared to a NIS Tune? Also do more people know how to tune the PFC compared to others? EG NIS, E- Manage Keeping in mind I only need 300kw. Where would be the best place to shop? Any more I should be looked at? www.justjap.com www.nengun.com I live 450km from Perth so shopping can be done there. I will have a look in the traders section as well. I have just brought a "newish" front diff. $350 CHEAP! Cheers.
  6. Awesome - I have already got HKS coilovers and 9.5" wide rims, traction shouldn't be an issue. With the turbos in mind - N1's don't seem to be cheap second hand and with the price of new HKS or Garret items seems like the better option. So the list should be New ECU - Remap or PFC? Turbos - HKS or Garret or N1's? Dumps - Brand? Time belts was done 100,00 lol Thanks
  7. Hey Guys I have just changed jobs and have fallen into some money and would like to get the GTR up and running. It is my daily car. I use it always on the street and circuit. The run down. Things Broken Front Diff Back Turbo Running really rich (-250km per tank) Things working ok Timing belts done 1000000 Gaskets redone on exhaust engine is still very healthy - pulls hard Clutch has been replace (twin plate - new oils in gearbox) Oils replaced every 5000km with Motul 1000 Compression Test comes back all ok 145 across all 6 Basicly I need new turbos and would perfered to be around the 300kw mark evently. All work will be done by myself and a few mates. If any more info is need just let me know.
  8. Is it everything i need to go from the AFM? I don't need anything else?
  9. UPDATE! I stripped out the AFM meter to start checking them... as i removed the airbox i notice that the twin turbo pipe was semi loose... BAM The twin turbo pipe has a little elbo that sits inbetween the turbo inlet and TT pipe, it had cracked in two and was just sitting on there causing the boost leek and really shit performace. Now to find this part....

  12. Yep checked them all... did the water trick when it's running, just a thought could it be the timing belt has skiped a tooth? making the time way out?
  13. Ok how do i check the AFM? I have unpluged them and notice both times the car nearly stalling but car ran the same. Do i need to clean them? If so what with? I have the stock air box and just a panel filter. CAS? Crank angle sensor? is that on the front of the engine? Unpluged that and the car didn't start. Pluged it back in and the car was the same. Fuel. Don't know how i'm spose to check the fuel pressure. I will ask my mech mate tomorrow.
  14. compression test done 1st 140 2nd 140 3rd 150 4th 150 5th 130 6th 130 All rough figures being noob at it doesn't help. Give or take 5PSI. So what does this mean? Everything ok? I'm leaning towards the turbos now. Is there any way to check?
  15. So now compression test is next.... If it is a piston that is stuffed is it possible to do a RB30 NA swap over? Any good guids out? I have found the PDF but it skipped alot of things like ECU ect....
  16. Yer man... had a few goodies since then. Now she is stuffed, hardly idles and blows white and blue smoke now...
  17. Just for a update the car is struggling to idle now, blowing black smoke on idle. Car still revs fine but with alot of miss fire. Compression test will tell whats wrong.
  18. Yep only r32 GTR in town. Makes it hard sometimes.... New spark plaugs were graped to .08? or .8? one of the two. AFM are a bitch to get to will check tomorrow. Could it be a piston that is stuffed? Thanks for the hints.
  19. Replaced with cheap cooper then irduims. Coopers were PITCH black. same both times.
