i hate that i have to sell all my goodies that will be no use to me with my new engine otherwise ill never even get started. chance are ill sell the goodstuff and never get round to doing the engine and be driving round in nothing more then i a riced up line hopefully that wont happen.

of course holdens are gonna have more rwkw's as there a bigger heavier car, but yes our na liners will beat v6 commies and straight 6 vct vvt and non vvt fords i know this from expierience.

i know my car weighs well over 1450kg's it didnt have the bootinstall but still had amps spare tyre interior, a back seat full of tools.

oh it was on private roads of course, i think at one stage we reached about 150 160 maybe.... not sure... slip? my best run down the 1/4 was a 15.8 but it was my first time out there.

no thats just it, i know what warped roters feel like and u actually can feel this through the pedal its a noise. -
some came out with an lsd and others with abs and hicas i spose the only way to find out if it has an lsd is take it for a test drive

hehehehe maybe we'll have to test the standing start theory, but yep slip definately had me all 3 times. My car has extractors highflow cat hks super drager zaust and a slightly home tuned safc oh and a k n n highflow panel filter. And i didnt have my boot install in at the time which also slows the car down alot!! id hate to think how bad it would of been if it was in there. Damn car.... I wont have it back till next week now, oh well maybe with the cf bonnet it will be enough of a weight reduction to beat u!! hahaha i call a rematch! P.S. I was giving it everything too, flat changing at 6900 just before the cut out.... ah well....

hey all, as the subject suggests my car vibrates under breaks, im pretty sure its coming from the front right and only ever does it when under a specific breaking pressure and just before it comes to a complete stop, its generally when breaking slightly harder then normal but only slightly and if i pull up harder it doesnt do it? its got me stumped. Ne help? Cheers John

hey all, my final damage quote came in at 2700 bucks, the asessor came and looked at it yesterday, wrote some stuff down picked the cheaper quote from the 2 i had to get and said he'd fax the permission to start the repairs in the morning, all it took to get to this stage was a ten minute phone call to the insurance agency to get some details of the incident. Im happy with the way things have been handled especially since my regular panel beaters are a recomended repairer and gave me a cheaper quote to make sure i got them. Overall- Just cars are great! cheers John

yep that 34 is always at the ares shop, very quick naturally aspirated one believe it or not, HKS cams and the works. What colour was the silvia u saw?? my mate drives a dark blue one with a full gt jackal kit, its got aresspeed stickers all over it. Also neone on here own a silver stockish 33 and was followed by me for quite some time along the western freeway inbound thisafternoon in a black 33??

is that what that thing is hanging off the side of the intake pipe?? i couldnt for the life of me work it out and neither could my dad or the exaust dude..... sweet as now i know.

yeah thats an option but with the 4 stud pattern mag options are fairly limited and with my new body kit my 17's look like go kart wheels.

hey dude, i was going to do it with a big stainless steal one, while ur at it u should put the pod in the front bar and then uve got proper cold air, u shouldnt loose ne power as long as u stick with the same or slightly larger diameter piping.

Just wondering as the topic suggests about a brake upragde. My mechanis recomends a GTR brake upgrade but recently talking to another skyline owner i was told that the increased offset of the GTR brakes wouldnt alow the rims to fit under my standard GTS guards?? if this is true are there ne ways around it? or could is there a cheaper alternative and some how keep my breaks but by 5 stud rotors to give me a larger range of available rims?? im quite happy with my breaking performance but fade becomes a large issue ne tips or ways of making the breaks work better with out spending aa huge amount of cash. slip- yeah man after a few attempts u got it happeining nicely
