car is being dyno'd in 2 weeks hopefully, i cracked my front bar today on my own driveway and i am not very happy about it to say the least so i now have to get that repaired the kit was only totally completed yesterday. Though as i have said the before the car has big plans and they are now begining to fall into place. I have a new block sitting in the garage, and its not gonna b NA, but it will be hopefully completed by the end of the year if all goes to plan.

there are other ways round buying a high flow cat, they are very restrictive and pratically useless after 60000k's neways. Apparently i read somewhere that a well tuned rb engine will still pass an emissions test without one? dont know how true that is.

i can know put my finger on what the noise is that my car is now making with the extractors. Its all the sucking due to the increased airflow, it sounds like a vaccum cleaner. Im not sure if i really like the sound but i spose i will get used to it. Im also looking into purchasing an electronic diverter valve, that diverts air after the extractors straight out the side of the car. http://noweeds.net

was neone on here the guy that did a really sweet drift from beaudesert road onto granard rd on sat saturday. I was the pasenger in a really sweet slammed and kitted up silvia, the offender was in a silver r32 gtst, and gave us a wave and thumbs up i beleave, it was a sick drift!!

cost me a total of 150 bucks, modified installed and a new gasket. They just cut the final cone off and made a new one with 2 1/2" pipe, apparently they were gonna be too long neway.

its not tuned properly yet, all i did was lean it out very marginaly up to 4g's. and yes even that made a noticable difference. When it is tuned i have been told to expect a 15 to 20 or more killawatt gain. As soon as its dyno'd ill let u all know.

extractors, cat back zaust, high flow cat, k n n high flow filter, and apexi s-afc. then it will go nicely. then go mags, stereo and the rest.

Extractors are ON!!! OMG its the best value for money mod i could of done. It has the fattest midrang power ever! It has a slightly louder exaust note and i cant really describe the sound in words. but thats not what i bought them for, the power is unbeleavable, so much more torque its amazing. Cant wait to get it tuned, hopefully ill have it on the dyno in the next few weeks. Thanks again to Greg for the extractors they were well worth the money. They about a foot from the end and fut a new cone on with 2 1/2 inch pipe so i have 2 1/2 all the way through.

yep mine constantly do this, i think its my ignorant friends leaning on them. just take the rear seats out and the b pillar trims, they just pop of with some gental convincing.

ok, my extractors are getting fitted tomorrow, they are cutting off the original final 2 into 1 cone that has a 2inch diameter and replacing it with a 2 1/2 inch one to suite the rest of my system. Ill let u all know how it goes.

ok sorry i didnt reply yesterday but i didnt get my car back till this afternoon. I had a look. To find the gromet open the door as wide as it will go and draw a line by eye level with the bottom of the side indicator and it should be there. looking from behing the door u wont find it because it is directly behind the complicated pain in the arse plug. with the VDO Dayton its pretty much down to only a few meters this phillips one though... its just down write irratating (spelling) i spose it still gets the job done.

ok after dad let me drive his car for a day, i was out sourcing some suspesion components for a mates silvia, and if u have the choice go the VDO Dayton Unit as the philips version in dads car looks the same but definately does not perform as well, it continually locked up, and i even got coments like "you are leaving the registered road network" i was like WTF? it even showed us not being on the roads we were on, it seems to have a few issues, so VDO all the way.

should be more then 150kw for such a rare item i would imagine, standard rb25de makes like 140kw, that extra ten could be gaines from zaust and extractors.......
