cheers, it was my second car i bought and did up a vl when i was about 16, made double what i payed for it, and then had enough for my car, yeah exactly what do the adjustable cam gears alow cause i though there was no point without aftermarket cams?? as the lift and duration would already be at the optimum with the factory cams/settings??

i was lucky, ive been thinking about buying a daily driver for a while and my grandfather said he would give me his now dont laugh, 84 ford fairmont ute.. hehe, meh its got 12 months rego on it and ill just get 3rd party property insurance for the thing. but yeah my mum has an 8 it costs about 900 a year to register (i grits my teath)... cant wait till ive got a real job....

brag is pretty much brand new and only been around a few months, though a good friend of mine knows the owner pretty well. They contract out most of there work i believe but do have some good prices, what exactly do u want done>? engine or bodykit? if its a kit or nething asthetic id try aresspeed, they do great work.

connect ur positive to the positive on the battery and just earth the negetive somewhere in ur boot, u will also have ur remote wire which is blue which go's from ur headunit to the appropriate place on ur amp, its job is to activate a relay so ur amp is only on when ur headunit is on. ur RCA's should plug straight into ur amp. hope that helps. ok im definately getting one, i found the new version (version II) on an american website and it will cost me about 540 dollars to get it here. I got a quote to fit it at 100 bucks and a mate of my dads is gonna dyno it and tune it for me, all should be done in 3 to 4 weeks hopefully, let u all know how it goes.

hey man, my car gives great 3rd gearies, and even better 1st to 2nd ones and currently all i have is a hks super dragger exaust, from 100 k's an hour it keeps up with most stock turbo cars. though there was one series 4 rx7 that put me to shame but he shot two 3 ft flames out his two exausts when he cracked 4th so i thought then i was down and backed off haha, in the next few weeks i should have a K n N high flow filter insert an Apexi S-AFC and those coby extractors fitted, ill get it all dyno'd and let u guys know how it goes. would expecting 20kw extra be stretching it??

haha, its also fairly expensive, that basically what stopping me just got other priorities for things to do to my car i can live with rattles for now.

i read a whole article on it and it said that richer was better for more power and cars come out of the factory lean for better fuel efficiency, the whole thing didnt really make sense to me as i used to ride motor bikes and the way to get more power out of the was to lean them out so it was all a little confusing for me.

yeah isnt that basically what ur after, a richer mixture which allows the car to run cooler and benifits a few other things and in return gives u more power, or am i miss informed and to get more power u need to go leaner??

yeah thats how im gonna do it, but u cant use the gtr box if its only rwd, as im not doing the AWD conversion, so i was just wondering if a gtst box would be alright, what do people use on higher power gtst's for a stronger box?? or would it be nessesary (spelling) as eventually i want to at least get the car into the 11 sec bracket so i wanna do everything right the first time so when i get more $$ for more mods i dont have to change the diff or gearbox.

Has neone got one of these or been in an NA skyline with one? i am thinking about purchasing one but not sure what sort of power gains to expect, i really just want to richen my car up so i get some nice backfire action happening when i back off. Ne help? Cheers

meh!! i got a front bar full of the stuff, when there is no nice intercooler behind there cause the car is NA u need something there.

yeah my boot rattles like mad, my parcel shelf is made out of 4 mm MDF so no rattles there. As soo as i have a bit more money im gonna sounds deaden the boot and doors, i constantly find myself pulling off the door trims and tightening the screws that hold my splits in, and there lock tighted and everything, bass does some funyn things i spose....

u get ur learners when ur 16 and 6 months and have that for 6 months then u get ur p's then stay on them for 4 years. Yeah i figured the extractors wearnt too pricey and i just wanted i little bit more performance from my car for now, the high flow insert also isnt too pricey and an apexi afc i can use with the new engine.

i saved since i was like 10, working at my grandfathers company, then when i was old enough i worked at maccas aswell, i started saving for a car before i even knew what a skyline was, i managed to put together 10g's and my parents gave me another 6. and by the middle of last year i was a very proud owner of a skyline, since then every dollar i have earnt has gone into my car. And after y12 im planning to take out a 15g loan and do the converion.

i have a non turbo r33 with a fairly big install in my boot (the one in my avatar) and it hasnt dramitcally effected handling or performance so i imagine with urs being a turbo the difference would be even less.

i may not have my car back, i will do my best to try get it, but ill post here and let u know if i cant come. alternitively does it matter if i dont come in a skyline i may be able to borrow one of my parents cars??

Insurance along with my dad not letting me buy a turbo untill i had more expirience on the road. Though im looking at doing a engine conversion in the not too distant future so its all good!!
